The ENTIRE Joshua Album is a classic. I highly recommend a full listen. There is a reason this album got another tour 30+ years later even after they had produced some incredible albums in between. You won’t be disappointed.

How did he create this extremely intimate moment with a fan in front of thousands of people and almost make them all disappear? Like for that moment in time it was just him and her with the world watching but he didn't even notice or care because he was only focused on his feeling for her. Isn't this how we all want love to feel? (BTW, I realize it was staged but none the less, a perfect portrayal of blind love)

This is why live performance videos are special. You can’t get this level of the music and talent reading lyrics. Bono is an amazing rock star, philanthropist and civil rights person. Try more live performances. It’s really the best of of all.

This song is from 1987. All four members of the band contributed to the composing of this song, so I'm sure this song has deep meaning for all the members. The drummer, Larry Mullen Jr. brought this song to life by bringing material to the other band members; Bono (lead singer) aka Paul Hewson composed the chord sequence. He has been married to Ali since 1982.

Bono wrote this song for his wife Ali. They've been married over 25 years. They were high school sweethearts! Sometimes songs lyrics don't make complete sense. It was him telling her that he would rather die than to be without her. Just his ability to sing laying flat on his back and still sing with so much emotion tells you just how talented he is.

The Joshua Tree was written lyrically by Bono specifically for & about America. Bono was so adept & brilliant lyrically, that he he could write songs with a surface meaning & a deeper more macro meaning as well. While this song is written in a person to person context, it is also a song written by the world to America. Bono is a outright genius & Poet Laureate for a generation.

I listen to all kinds of music from Death metal to Symphonic metal, Pop, Rock, Classical, Jazz etc. But U2 is my favorite band of all time. They are such an awesome live band, just incredible. I've seen them dozens of times...I was at this show. Great reaction. Thank you for entertaining us during these Crazy times. 😁 I think someone else already mentioned it but the song One Tree Hill is a short but powerful song. They almost never play it live because Bono wrote it after a friend had borrowed his motorcycle and got killed in a crash. He blamed him self for his friends death. Such an emotional song. For something a little different...If you have never reacted to Eluveitie, you have to check out the song The Call of the Mountains. The are a Swiss German band that play Celtic folk Metal.

Bono! The best frontman in the world! By taking one woman on stage to lie with him, every woman saw herself there, and the rest of the world didn't matter in that moment. And every man was entranced by the power one man had to turn one song into one of the biggest moves in the history of the stage. So simple, yet so profound.
