I was in a hospital bed, dying of sepsis in a lot of pain. I do remember hearing U2 from my computor beside me, it helped me. Now here they are with the song- your song saved my life. 🤯🧡

I am 37 years old with 2 children under 2. I religiously watch the movie Sing 2. Personally the entire movie is motivational. If you are going through something difficult, have anxiety, depression please just watch this movie. It will cheer you up for a moment. Remember there is light on the other side of the tunnel. I hope I don't sound weird but whenever I hear a U2 song my mood changes. I can have the crappiest day or be happy as I think I can be, then I hear a U2 song and I'm immediately elevated. These guys are magic.

Its always great to read from other young U2 fans. I started listening them three years ago, aged 16. First I was a liitle uncomfortable telling my friends that I like them but in the end I am proud of being a fan. We can only hope that we will one day have those nostalgic memories as well. It's amazing how loyal some U2 fans are.

U2 was my main inspiration to play Drums as a teenager. I used to learn all their albums on drums thru my Walkman during My back to back lunch periods in high school. Every time a new album came out it was magical like Christmas and I'd listen to it for weeks on end. Larry Mullen Jr is 1 of the most creatively and technically Underated drummers of our time creating a drum beat designed specifically for each song from intro to outro and chorus to verse! Thank You U2 and Thank You Larry for inspiring Me to be the musician I am today!

I did the same thing with my Walkman and played along on a drum set in my basement. It was Around 1984. I played Under a Blood red Sky so many times it eventually warped the cassette tape.

Suffering from the worst depression right now. A lot of U2 songs have saved my lyfe in the past and in the present. I'm thinking of Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses and Iris (Hold Me Close.) I spend a lot of time in my car partly to escape the world, and I listen to the U2 channel on Sirius radio station. I weep in my car from the beauty and sadness of these songs.

Like so many others U2 is the soundtrack to my life. I’m currently between “real” jobs, and picked up a temporary retail job. There’s so much anger around at the moment. Amazingly, everyday I hear a U2 song played in the shopping centre where I work. In those moments I forget rude, aggressive customers and focus on the memories attached to each song. It’s saving my life and sanity at the moment.

Just watched Sing 2 with my kids these past few days during covid home-quarantine with the family. It's so motivating and loved this song upon hearing it in the movie. Even though it's a cartoon, Callaway's return to the stage scene with my favourite U2 song made me cry..and I'm a 42yo old dad with 2 kids (12 & 8).

Wow - tell me I've finally influenced the artists that influenced me... I could die a happy man knowing one of the most important "fathers" to me as an artist took inspiration from my story. Wishful thinking I know - but this band and Bono are amazing. They're music helped me after my parents' divorce - More importantly the album All That You Can't Leave Behind.

U2 has that rare songwriting talent. The lyrics and the tune, binding together perfectly. ❤ I'm happy they're still working together and so well... happy to get a new U2 song. The music today lacks this, that binding between music and lyrics. I hope the young musicians learn from U2., every song doesn't need to be a gang bang, playing and yelling as loud as you can. If you young artists can learn to do it like U2, you'll be around 40 years from now. Plus you'll be some of the richest people in this world. Im not saying copy them, not at all, just take note of that marriage between lyrics and music. I think That's what lacking today. Not to be too critical. They've actually been at it 40 years. I call that successful. There's no law against musicians being successful. It's cool to be, well appreciated 👍 for 40 years. And don't tell me that you don't care about the money. They get that because people love their songs. Artists and bands that play dives claim bands go commercial and sell out. That's loser talk, from guys that play their three chords one way, banging hard and loud , that's all they do. These guys are real musicians since about 79 or 42 years . People love their songs. You young artists could learn from U2. You really could.

I feel this isn't just a song that pays tribute to singers or performers in general but music itself. Music has uplifted people since we started banging on objects that made pleasant noises. Many have used the power of song in the deepest and most darkest abyss of hopelessness to make others feel less alone. The power of song is used to remember those we have lost and those we can yet save. All in all without music life would be nothing for so many and far more things would be wrong in the world.

I was inspired just before I heard that sing 2 came out I was unhappy I had no friends I was getting bullied. but when I heard [ your song saved my life] that changed every little bad thing happening to me I became happier than ever.
