Sa mga di po nakakaintindi ng cheerleading. Ung pyramid sa 1:54 eh early dismount lng po as you can see un nmn tlga dapat gagawin pero napaaga ang transition tsaka medyo di maganda pagkamount nung flyer. Ung pyramid po nila sa 4:00, BUO PO SYA. Wala syang deduction. Medyo di malinis pagkaexecute pero buo po. Ung pyramid sa bandang huli ung hindi nabuo and dun po sila nagkadeduction. Pero ung kalahati sa isang side, BUO PO. Point-wise? lamang na lamang na lamang sila. Sa tosses naman, Ung dalawang pikeopen double nga lng sa series nila ang hirap na pong talunin non. Stunts: may hindi nabuong isa may deduction din po yon. Pero tignan nyo po ung level of difficulty, tsaka lahat nagkick double dismount ng malinis not to mention ung isa pang dismount. Tumblings, synchronized double twists. Ung mga babae synchronized din. Dance. Ako naappreaciate ko ung dance. Maganda sya for me. And cguro naappreciate din sya ng mga judges. Malinis ang galaw, dismounts, mounts, dance, almost everything. Thing is, hindi puro visuals ang cheering. Minsan mukha syang super hard pero mas hard ung ginawa ng isang team hindi lng masyado naaappreaciate. It's 2015 and nagiba na po ang criteria sa competition na to. It's modern. Mas pinatechnical na. Maybe hindi sila 100% sa pageexecute ng theme pero walang taong magsasabing hindi hard ang pinakita nila sa bawat segment. Madumi ung isa nilang pyramid? Eh binawi nman nila kase may iba pa silang pyramid na hard den. Quality and Quantity din po pla. Tsaka kung sasabihin po nating luto, di nmn po yata ethical kase ung mga judges po naten eh INTERNATIONALLY-ACCREDITED. They've been through a lot of competitions, judging, etc. At mas alam po nila ang ginagawa nila kesa saten. Ung isang judge nga po UP alumna pero wala nmng nagcomplain dba po? This squad has put everything na meron sila sa routine na to. Dugo't pawis ng buong squad, ng mga coaches, at ng lahat ng fans at pamilya na sumusuporta sakanila. So walang may karapatan na magsabing hindi sila deserving kase lahat ng teams eh deserving pong manalo sa pagod, pawis, at oras lng po na binibigay nila sa sport na to :)

NU, HALIMAW ang SKILLS, hindi catchy ang routine, siguro dull ang color ng costume. Pero yung level ng Difficulty esp sa Tumbling at Tosses ang nagpa.angat talaga sa score nila. yung pyramid, kahit mas mababa pa score nila dun 12.5% lang yun ng Score kay di talaga yun nakaapekto masyado at madami talaga silang pyramid kay di talaga pwede iSUBJECTIVE judging na palapak pyramid nila. hindi kasi pwede maging subjective sa Competition na yun. kailangan talaga maging technical kaya siguro naging ganun yung results. sana maging masaya na lng ang lahat.

For me, deserved naman nila ang 3-peat. The level of difficulty is intense. Maraming sablay but nababawi ka agad. Ang galing lang din kasi talaga. Lahat ng teams magaling but every season intense ang pinapakita ng NU. Yun lang. Congrats NU!

In my opinion, NU deserved their 3-peat. Kung siguro ang point system parin ng CDC ay yung sa 2010 pa, maarai sigurong hindi sila mag champion, kasi linis ang tinitignan doon. But now na 400pts sa cheer at 400pts sa dance, aba ibang usapan na yun! Ang atake kasi ng NU ay more on cheerleading kaya na dominate nila yung cheer part. 91.5 pts na tumbling, 84 pts sa tosses, 70.5 sa stunts and 88 sa pyramid na kahit kalat yung isa nagawa parin nilang nabawi! Pyramid 3 na nga lang ng NU, sabog na sa difficulty eh! Ibang iba yung linis ng executions ng NU sa tosses at lalo na sa tumbling na almost all tumbler hindi simpleng layout ang ginagawa! Yes, may laglag sila, pero that's not enough to pull them down dahil una palang nakapag ipon na sila ng points. Kumbaga level3 ang difficulty nila yung iba nasa level1 palang. Hindi ibig sabihin na kapag may laglag na, talo na! Kaya mag criteria, lahat ng aspeto kinokonsider! And let's accept, malayong malayo na ang narating ng NU sa CDC and Cheerleading! coming from outside of the uaap spectrum, i strongly believe that NU deserved the top spot. the level of difficulty and intensity they brought to the floor took them apart from the rest and there is no question about it. very well deserved!

NU and UPs' performances are significantly brilliant and these two universities deserve the best. However, only one must stand out from the crowd and that's the NU who does so many tweaks and tricks on their overall performance. I must say that NU deserves the champ title. By the way, I'm not a fan of these two universities, I'm just giving credit where credit is due.

Sa level of difficulty palang panalo na. At saka madami silang ginawang pyramid at tossing kaya bawi agad yung errors nila. 👍🏻

I am actually new at UAAP (especially cheerleading), but not a newbie when it comes to dancing and gymnastics. I just want to voice this out, note that I am not implying that this is the correct way of judging and deducting points/ penalties. 1. ERRORS (that should have equivalent deductions). I've seen the results and was shocked at the total (6 points) deductions NU got. Here's a list of errors that I think should be further deducted. a. 1:52 - Minor error, untimely dismount of flyer at the right. Though it is clearly a transition to a different stunt/ pyramid, still, the dismount was earlier than it should have been. b. 2:05 - Minor error, improper placement of flyer on third level PLUS wobbly mid-bases and flyers, pyramid not well executed. c. 2:37 - Error (not sure if major/ minor), untimely dismount of the flyer at the right (back portion), dismount not executed. d. 3:54 - Major error, improper placement of flyer on third level; the whole group who executed the stunt FALLS. e. 4:00 - Major error, pyramid incomplete. f. 5:32 - I think it should be counted as a minor error to the dance criterion. All of these errors-- yet they've only been deducted 6 points. There's something wrong there. For the past few days I've been watching dance competitions in the PH because they won gold at the HHI 2016. I've watched UAAP SDC, and dude, the SKILLS. Now, it looks like I'll be watching more UAAP CDC events.

I watched every single routine in more times that I can count and still NU deserves the championship. Given na kitangkita ang laglag ng NU sa pyramid compared to UST and UP pero the level of difficulty and yung smoothness ng stunts sa pagkaexecute. At ung mga dismount ng NU, akala mo nagslaslide lang sila pero iba talaga ang amount ng training and discipline to achieve that image na akala mo madali lang. I know na hindi biro ang ginagawa ng mga NU sa routine na to. Congratulations NU!

first of all hindi ako taga NU pero kung ibabase natin sa level of difficulty ng performance nila (stunts,tumbling tosses etc) panalo tlaga ang NU in my opinion, boring ang performance ng UP pero bumawi sa dulo, yung UST malinis lang pero level of difficulty waley, epic fail pa ang theme nila, wala namang tigers sa africa eh lol

Maganda siguro yung stunts and pyramids kung perfectly executed. Pero ewan ko sa UP Pep pa ding performance ako nagkaka goosebumps kahit gaano kagaling ang NU. Yung theme ng UP kakaiba kasi more of advocasy at kahit walang props sapat na. very unique kaya nagsstand out. Sayang lang di sila kasali this year. 😢

I'm from San Beda College. A Bedan. NCAA ang group namin.. Pinanood ko ang UAAP Season 78 Cheerdance Competition. Para sa akin, ang National University (NU) talaga ang deserving mag champion. Sa start pa lang, hataw agad sila. Kahit may kaunting errors, nabawi agad nila dahil ang hirap talaga ng ginawa nilang performances. Kung susuriin natin mabuti, hindi naman nawawala ang errors sa UST at UP. Ulit ulitin nyo lang panoorin ang performances nila sa youtube. Walang perfect. CONGRATULATIONS NATIONAL UNIVERSITY!

MY OPINION: Wala akong pake kung mag-aaway kayo sa comments. For me kasi, oo, mahirap yung routine BUT they have to make sure that they execute the stunts gracefully. Messy siya kasi. Hindi ko rin namalayan na tapos na yung video dahil parang kulang na kulang tapos parang walang bago. Nung 2013, they had the theme Arabian. 2014, INDIAN at ngayon people from the past or people from the ancient times. For me rin, parang nadala lang siya sa costume at them while UP on the other hand, parang perpekto eh from the stunts to the dance to the costume at hindi sila nag-fail sa stunts. Fan ako ng NU pero sorry, UP ako this year.

WAG NIYO I-BASE SA CLEANLINESS NG ISANG PERFORMANCE. Yes, UST's performance was clean, pero yung stunts, tosses, pyramids, at lifts nila? WALANG-WALA. (UST only got 63 and 69 on the stunts and tosses criteria, respectively) some of their stunts are quite safe. UP's performance? pang-champion daw? TBH, nabawi lang sila ng last pyramid nila. their tumblings were so simple, in cheerleading standards, some of their stunts are overused na rin nila. yung pyramids nila parang pinapaulit-ulit na lang nila e. nire-revise lang nang onti. Ang gusto niyo lang kase, kung ano 'yung MASARAP TINGNAN. kung ano 'yung MALINIS. kung sino ang may PINAKAONTING MALI. gusto niyo lang 'yung mas PALPABLE ang performance. pero kapag stunts, tosses, lifts, tumblings, and pyramids na pag-uusapan, WALA KAYONG MASABI. puro lang kayo "puta daming mali ng nu" "hindi malinis" tsaka LUTO? EBIDENSYA NIYO? porket homecourt ng NU ang MOA? porket pagmamay-ari ng mga Sy ang NU? Penge ngang picture na may abutan ng pera na naganap! Pengeng ebidensya! O ANO? WALA DIBA? They didn't just raised the difficulty but also maximized the scoresheet, hindi porket may laglag talo na, hindi porket malinis panalo na agad, aba kung ganyan kayo mag-isip napakitid ng mga utak ninyo. Hindi lang yan ang criteria sa pag-judge tumbling pa nga lang ng NU ang layo na kumpara sa ibang universities, puro full twist pati yung mga babae, whip layout double samahan mo pa ng front layout doubles at maraming combinational passes. Maximizing the scoresheet in all aspect will still prevail compared to a clean routine that has low raw score. Oo may deductions sa laglag but do you really think na it would suffice in defeating them with high raw score? think again. LOL. FYI 3rd place sa International Cheer Union sila na nagkaroon din ng mga laglag sa stunts, out of 17 countries na nagcompete naka 3rd pa sila? Ngayon sabihin niyo na linis lang ng routine ang usapan para manalo baka pagtawanan kayo ng mga judges. LOL.

At least bagay yun theme nila sa sayaw nila - primitive :))) Pati yun mga nagscore, sinaunang tao walang alam sa cdc.

Watched UP and then this!!! gonna admit , NU got a lot of penalties...but they also have so much difficulties in the stunts...I don't know how they computed it but my vote is for UP...

It seems na mas maraming ISKO ang bitter sa pagkapanalo ng UP. I, myself, is team UP but this squad slayed from start to finish. They deserved the 3-peat.

difficulty is nothing if you can't execute them well. katulad lang yan ng ibang sporting events like diving, gymnastics etc. though you can still get an acceptable score for trying even if it messed up a little. pero di ka pa rin mananalo. lalo na kung magagaling din yung mga nakalaban mo. People will not show a massive disappointment kung deserving talagang manalo. Last year or ang mas magandang example is nung season 76, NU gave us a BAD ASS performance kaya sila nanalo and tinanggap yun ng halos lahat. Even defending champs UP pep and the whole UP community congratulate NU for winning. Pero iba talaga yung timpla ngayon. Di na mababago ang result. Kailangan na talagang magmove-on ng mga taong di matanggap ang resulta. For NU pips, hoping to be more WISE in defending your squad. Don't talk about difficulty and technicalities if you don't know anything about it. Also, those people were not your HATERS. Di nila kayo hate or yung school nyo. Ang hate lang nila is yung RESULTA.

NU deserved it for me. I've watched UP then NU but NU got this anytime. Hirap ng ginawa nla without taking a break. It's a breathtaking performance. Errors didn't affect the performance in a casual viewers eyes

I am honestly rooting for UP (as always, every year) and I sooo like their stunts in this year's competition. Pero siguro ano lang, no offense to UP, mas nakita ko ang puso sa performance ng NU. May humbleness eh. Tipong kahit anong mangyari, perform lang. No expectations, no big crowds for audience impact, the underdogs. Ang sa UP kasi, di maiiwasan talaga eh. Malinis, worth-watching, memorable, palaging bago. Sila ang nagse-set ng standard sa kung ano ang gagayahin ng iba sa next year na competition. Pero sad to say, there's an air of overconfidence din eh. Siguro dahil alam nilang they can and they are the crowd favorite. Pero though I know nothing about cheerdance scoring or whatsoever, I still much prefer UP's performance. Napa-wow talaga 'ko, hehe. Pero kudos pa din to NU and congrats. =)

Ang NU Pep squad grabe para ng sa THailand na mga CHeering squad lumelevel up lang talga ang NU everyear di gaya ng iba jan pang 2011 pa rin ang cheer nila kayat hanggang 3rd nlang! GO NU GALINGAN MO PA NEXT YEAR!

You should have known na ang MAXIMUM deduction sa each pyramid ay 5 points(if totally hindi na execute yung pyramid, if incomplete 2-4 lang) having said that, dun sa pyramid ng NU 1 of them is incomplete and the other 1 is early dismount... With this its only 5 points total deduction for the overall pyramids( which is yung sa penalty judge ang nag sscore) iba naman po ang binibigyan puntos ng judge ng pyramid, which the level of difficulty, transition etc. at wala syang pake kung may malaglagman dun.. Kaya ang nakuha na score ng NU ay 88..peace!

Congratulations NU! I don't know anything about cheerleading but I was amazed with your stunts. The judges are professionals (obviously) so I am not in the position to criticize your performance. And I respect you for your stamina and confidence! Yun lang po.. Pagpasensyahan ang aking Ingles.
