Yeah, his brother is a poor substitute, and now with Brian and Astro dear departed, UB40 are sadly no more. I saw them at St Georges' Hall, Bradford, in June of 1981, and there again in 1986. Also at Leicester, a gig that they played for the benefit of the striking miners, with a band called the 'Flying Pickets'. 😬

My friend, Roger Clark, one of life's characters, a Club and County rugby player (No 8) passed away last weekend. This had become his "party piece" and go to Karaoke song. He was always at the centre of it all and loved a glass of Strongbow. He had been out supporting our local Club in a semi final which on winning leads us to a final at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff next week, but sadly won't be there in person to support the Club he loved. RIP Rog!
