Today I am reviewing the Ubeesize 10" Ring Light. This ring light can be used for product photography and video or for video production. Most people watching this review might be interested in using a ring light for makeup tutorials videos or live streaming.

That’s one of the things I was hoping to see. I must say I’m not crazy about that ring effect in the eyes, but I’ve still ordered one to look more professional during board meeting video calls.

this ring light is TRASH. I ordered one and it came broken. Im reading reviews and this happpens A LOT. dont buy this garbage product unless you want to waste time and money.

Good and balanced review, Shane. Inclusion of light stand and two-trigger BT remote, a real plus. I’d mount a light weight cam on the cold shoe for macro work. Leather jacket w/hoodie makes you look cool enough, although silly thumbnail mug shot detracts from that moniker 😁.

There's a cold shoe mount in the middle. If you get an adapter to screw into the webcam you can for sure. That will then be seated into the cold shoe in the light.

You may need to set your camera to expose for a particular section of the shot. Hold down on the screen where you want to expose for. (depending on your model)

Does the cord have to be plugged in for a while for the light to work? I have it plugged in and the power button is lit up but the light isn't working

It should work instantly once it's connected to the appropriate power. (and after you turn it on) There's a blue light on the controller that will light up to show you it has the correct power.

No, they are manually controlled from the provided controller.

They are both really good. if you want to light up a wider area the larger one is a better option. If you check out a few of my recent microphone reviews you'll see them lighting the wall behind me :)

Got mine this week. Too two selfies then I tried to turn it off it wouldn't so I unplugged it. Now the power light is on but the right won't turn on. The don't offer customer service. I'm so disappointed. I had hope after watching your review but mine is defective

Thanks for the video! Your editing is superb. Which do you like better, the 8 inch or the 10 inch? I want a ring light for traveling and to just have around without dealing with my big one. The 10 inch seems to do a great job but I don't know if it is too big to carry around. Thanks!!!

The 8" will do the job but if you want to light a general area and not use it for close up face stuff then go for the 10". Thanks for the kind words. :-)
