Uber Eats is now my favorite app over DoorDash for many reasons, but should you only work your most desired app? I tried to see what my earnings would be if I tried to mostly rely on Uber Eats.
All my viewers and subscribers have helped this channel grow quickly in the past few months, and thanks to everyone who is interested in my DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, and Instacart videos, I now want to give back to you. Yeah the order pop ups can get you sometimes lol. It's funny when it pops up at the exact moment I'm trying to snap a delivery pic. 🤣

@@CG-jv1xq When you're close to your destination or when you leave the restaurant just tap the coffee cup at the bottom right hand corner of your screen and that will pause requests. It will turn blue and you're good to go. You can also click the 3 lines at the bottom right hand corner and pause orders too. When you're finished delivering just tap it again and you'll be back online.

I feel the opposite. Ubereats is so deceptive and will play you quick if you don’t pay attention or know what to look at.

Great first day on just 1 app even with order issues. Seeing a lot of drivers frustrated with Doordash, but that could be market based as well. Thank you for another great helpful video!

Another good video! Thinking of doing my own. Recently, I've been doing just UE, and it's been really good. Averaged nearly 30$ an hour last night which isn't often. It's pretty good out here that I don't normally get crap offers but it does happen. So every now and then I tap out of my upfront addresses on really slow days. That is a bit annoying but it's not often in my market. Hopefully it gets better for you. Kudos on the quests. Can't wait for the next one in my area. It's been about 2 months since the last one.

Yeah Uber Eats puts everything right in front of your fingers and they also send you offers while your still on a live delivery Doordash rarely does that. I wouldn't mind if it was a decent offer, but they bomb me with low ball offers as I'm walking up to the door to drop my order off. That is super annoying had me cussing my phone. I have to wait until all the trash offers have cleared before I can take a photo if it's a leave it at the door. One time I accidentally accepted one of those trash orders, because right as I was about to press the take photo button a trash order popped up right over the top of it.

I’ve took one day to focus on DD and one day focused on UE and my highest paying day was still on DD about $200 vs my highest day on Uber eats is about $160. I multiapp and make regularly $200-$250 a day doing both apps.

My cancellation rate now on UberEats is 17% and I am still not getting deactivated. I hit 25% at one point.

I used to get a lot of Taco Bell orders that weren't even started when I got there. Only once did Jersey Mike's not have my order ready. Different employees working, I guess.

You can turn the " Pop Up " off Not sure for iPhone But heres how I did it on my Android 1. Go To phone settings 2. Select apps 3. Scroll to Uber driver 4. turn " Appear on Top'' off No more popups and accidental accepts, if you are using another app/game etc. Won't save from pop up if you looking through uber app (earnings/opps/ hidden tip etc)

On UE last night i got a big extra tip...i checked information but it was hard to figure out what pickups they were... i was busy last night and it was raining all day... am i missing something do you just need a great memory or is there information other then miles and roads of the trip...i wish they would say name of place i picked up from ,but they don't...thanks

Your best bet to get the upfront earnings thing explained is to set up a meeting with Uber greenlight hub. I did a couple months ago and they video chatted me and it was a real person from Chicago answering all the questions that I had

I found it’s best to get support from the green light hub with Uber it’s usually a better experience there is one in Tempe or they did have if not do have a virtual option but instead of talking to some call center who knows where the person your working with is aware of local situations (like the upfront addresses) pertaining to your market

If you can get out there early, like 6am, sometimes you can score some really good ones, like $20 orders for fairly short mileage. Very few drivers at that hour so the order gets declined a bunch and the base pay goes up. The other day, I had a McDonalds order that had 6 miles of total driving pay $18.77. Base pay was $16.27 with a $2.50 tip. I’ll take those all day long. High base pay like that, the money is mine right away and even if I got tip baited, I only lost $2.50. I still got the tip, but I’m saying risk is way lower. Those big early orders have happened to me many times.

I keep getting new orders on uber while i’m trying to deliver the previous order food. So I can’t make a decsion on it because I’m in the middle of trying to make sure I’m at the right house and deliver the order.

I guess good orders get picked up sooner rather than other ones,that must have a lot to do with why some are ready.. but i know certain places are always ready and other ones always take more time it seems... we have to take the good with the bad i guess... sometimes i don't mind waiting as much,but other times i just cancel and hope to get a good offer.

I prefer doing UE over DD but as long as UE keeps hiding delivery locations from me I can't use them. I need to know where I'm going before I accept the order and UE is stopping me from knowing that information.

i take a decent amount of $1 per mile orders and a lot of times UE's adds an offer to it after i accept... like $8 for only extra 1.5 miles... Plus hidden tips can happen and you also can end up in a good area...

I accepted my first package on UE for walmart... It was 6 bags of food... pay was not bad ...Guy at walmart scanned barcode using my phone but at drop off they wanted another bar code... I was not able to figure what code they wanted... do you know what code i was suppost to scan??? thanks

I don't know...New to UE here, it's been 4 days. Today, Sat, all $2.25 offers which I declined, then got one $13.50 to Sonic, I get there, after 20 min wait, they proceeded to say I'm the 2nd driver to come get it, the previous driver was rude, they will not remake the order. Sounds like the order got stolen. I go home, call support and yes, after 35 min phone wait, I get $3 compensation....That was it for my UE day...Hopefully it will get better.

I don’t know if it’s my market but every time I get a shop and deliver from uber I got all excited to shop only to find out they don’t have the product the costumer wants. The other day I got an order for $15 to buy two small cases of cat food. The costumer wanted cat food in gravy because supposedly his cat doesn’t like pâté, well, she only wanted an specific brand even though I sent her replacement options. So going back and forth made me waste time and ended up canceling the order because none of the products she wanted were available 😒 so I don’t do them no more. They are a waste of time and money in my opinion.

Lately UE has been paying!!! Just last night I was getting 6-7 mile order on doordash for like 4-5 bucks, ridiculous. UE gave me a double order for 9 miles and $22 and one customer didn’t even tip!. It’s a no brainer rn

Hey Jacob, I’m telling you get your DoorDash completion rate over 95% and you get better orders. You still get the garbage ones but I’ve definitely seen an increase in acceptable offers.

I'm not sure if the number is exactly 95% but I have been testing a few different variables and noticed no difference in order quality at 100% acceptance versus 0%, but once I tanked my completion rate to the high 80s it felt like I wasn't getting the same volume of offers. At 98% completion it felt like they were sending me bangers from all over a 5 mile radius. This isn't definitive proof, but something I've personally noticed. Edit: to add another related thought. Even at high 80s completion rate I'm still getting bangers, but when I check the customer name and address before accepting, I'm noticing it's a lot of my repeat customers who've given me a 5 star rating before. I'm not getting as many NEW customers. Definitely getting it back up to 100% asap

I can assure you, you wont get deactivated over high cancel rate. Or at least I wont lol. I once had it at 40 PERCENT!! :O all because of accidental accepts because it displays the order over other apps while im scrolling, once I turned it off the ability to display over apps, my cancel rate went wayyy down, to like 8 percent now lol

My drop right with Uber eats is pretty high it's like 30 for the same reason why yours is 14 because the order just pops up on the screen I don't know where and you might hit it by mistake you gotta wash out though because uber eats took away my fast pay for almost a month because of my drop rate

Theres just no freakin' way I'd be doing orders if I couldnt see the details. Fuck that. Only been doing Shipt and DD and both of them have some SERIOUSLY skewed ideas of orders, mileage, pay for the order and time. AND on top of that, theres just WAY, WAY too many orders that are no tips. I get that it is or could be a glitch for you, but if that IS true, then you're stuck w/it. I doubt they'll ever fix it for you
