Can never believe anyone on the taxis, my dads worked them all his life and I’m just in the middle of applying for my PHL and my father always said you’ll never know how much a taxi driver makes because they tell customers they don’t make much never I’ve had a good few weeks etc obviously for a chance at a tip and they’ll never tell drivers incase a driver hasn’t had many decent jobs but you have…keep yourself to yourself and make your money 👌

Uber will be calling full time uber drivers with low acceptance rates, they can boss these around. Anyone with an ounce of sense uses uber as a backup to their main gig. Don't get me wrong when uber is busy the system is amazing and just flows. But sod waiting around for fluctuating fares and hoping the algorithm will be kind to you 60 hours a week.

I started on uber nearly 3 year ago and it was brilliant now I can drive round Liverpool city an get like 2 jobs changed alot

Thanks for bringing this up mate maybe you can create a generic email so we can send you screen grabs of (as of thepast month orso) of SHOCKINGLY bad job offers! This morning I've screen grabbed two stupid jobs both around 15 miles away for a short fare of 1 to 2 miles totalling 17 miles for £5!!! it seems to be getting worse my acceptance rate is being destroyed lately from 93% to 86 in under a month....you need to do a video on this asap mate as Uber have restarted their on trip with Uber national event and hopefully drivers will be able to speak to GMB union reps about this? Cheers

I work in Brighton it is quite a small and very busy city. So my acceptance rate is high 75%, but my cancellation rates has now gone down as I am no longer accepting dogs, paralytic, druks or construction workers in filthy clothing ,now 4%

Am in same boat as you Matty, I tend to take most jobs they give me. Unless it’s 3 or 4 miles away, can’t afford to turn down trips with Uber these days. Like rocking horse shit in Liverpool

Sometimes uber expects you to accept 1.5 mile trips that are 6, 7 or even 15 miles away for £5, they know you're gonna be losing money on a trip like that but still offer it.. If you calculate your time online disregarding your break times and deduct your expenses it works out as minimum wage or there abouts. Why uber ditched the weekly holiday pay in favour of per trip is simple enough to understand, they can offer 60p per mile trips INCLUSIVE of holiday pay so you'll lose money.. never used to happen before. A pal did a comparison, spent 41 hours online for 6 days and earned £710 inclusive of holiday pay. So £710 divide by 41 is £17.31 per hour excluding expenses. Take away the fuel and other expenses, holiday pay and hes left with around £11.15.. its minimum wage however way you look at it..

Doesn’t sound right to me mate are these 100% credible calls Uber advertises the ability to accept the jobs you want and legally doesn’t have a leg to stand on to be saying this. I’m on 11% no phone call

12% no calls yet, i drive a vauxhall astra and I picked up a fare 7.26 for 2.6 mile trip and the customer complained, saying when a Merc driver picked him up fare was 5.29 😂

18% no phone call. The surge pricing has done its job (a spider s web) knowing that when it becomes saturated with drivers, they can start cherry picking drivers, booting off those that don't jump through their hula hoops!

What’s with Liverpool anyways, I dropped few customers from Manchester to Liverpool but everytime I keep getting jobs in Liverpool most of them are miles away, like £5 for 4 miles and like 4 miles dropped off after

This is what happens when you have a multinational sick machine. Not having their neck pulled in by the authorities. We are effectively owner drivers. They got no business phoning this up and saying to us. Our acceptance rates need to be this high
