I don't know if you've seen it but the Yasuke wiki page has been altered and now says that he was a samurai based on a survey which used western publications as "evidence" (none of those publications provide any sources or evidence for their claims, they just claim that he was a samurai). I've lived with disabilities all my life. The biggest problem has been that they're all mental disabilities; that usually means that people fall into one of two majority camps: Either they coddle you to the point of being patronizing, or they somehow separate the disability - a thing that directly affects your ability to think clearly - from your ability to perform your job. I've dealt with both in my life, at the extremes and everything in between. When you meet one of the exceedingly rare people out there who treats you like an adult, like a normal person, not because they also have mental disabilities but because they take the time to get to know you and understand the world in your shoes? It's incredible. It's jarring, but in a good way. You weren't expecting it to happen. That email to Activision employees is the antithesis of such a moment. And I didn't think I could be taken aback at something like that anymore. C'est la vie.

I remember back in the day when Ubisoft was an actual semi-decent publisher and actually put out some pretty decent quality games. The original Prince of Persia trilogy, the Rayman games, and the early Assassin's Creed entries.
