The town of Ubud, in the uplands of Bali, Indonesia, is known as a center for culinary inventiveness and hundreds of traditionally crafted shrines. This is a place where traditional Balinese culture imbues every waking moment.
𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗨𝗯𝘂𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:
We took our stop at Ubud for 3 days. Starting from ''Nasi Goreng''; traditional Balinese dish, we explored rice terraces, Art Market, different shrines, Elephant cave and a waterfall. Here's a quick video on our trip to Ubud, Bali. We tried to share the exciting things that you can do in Ubud.
Tegallalang Rice Terrace, one of the Ubud's iconic tourist destinations, has been very popular for many years now. Probably the most easily recognizable stand-alone Bali swings are the ones at Tegallalang. These Bali swings are of ''one of a kind'' experience. Besides the fun with Bali swings we had the opportunity to visit the Luwak Coffee Plantation and taste the world's most expensive Luwak coffee (Made from Civets' poop!!!). Other than the plain Luwak coffee there were 14 other flavors offered to us. Overall, Tegallalang is absolutely fun and Insta-worthy!
Our experience with visiting the 3 most famous temples around Ubud, Goa Gajah, Gunung Kawi, Gunung Kawi Sebatu, was exquisite. All the temples have an unique Balinese touch in their architecture that makes them stand out.
When in Ubud, a visit to Teganungan waterfall is one of the great things to do. Out of all the waterfalls in the surrounding areas, Teganungan is a great pick as it's not too far from Ubud. It's not one of Bali's secret or secluded waterfalls but that also has it's perks of easy access and facilities. Finishing a day getting wet under the Teganungan waterfalls, an unbeatable travel experience!
All in all, Ubud is the very best that global tourism has to offer. Come here for relaxation, for rejuvenation and to have what may well be the most magical holiday of your life.
