I absolutely love the University of Chicago! I've been lucky enough to attend some good schools (Temple, Notre Dame and DePaul) and cover/visit some elite universities (Ivy League/Patriot League) and their football programs; the University of Chicago is truly on a different level!

A lot of universities are in the middle of the hood: Yale in New Haven, Cal next to Oakland, USC near S. Central, Chicago in S. Chicago, Georgetown in DC, Stanfurd near E. Palo Alto, etc
