norah saying 'you too' to 'you're the most beautiful bar worker ever' is so funny

I read this comment before I saw that bit and thought aww, that's sweet. Didn't realise she said it to Chris and now the mental image is making me laugh so hard. 😅

Well but Chris WAS actually one of the most beautiful (high) bar workers UCLA has ever seen :o He was in the 1992 Olympics.
@sunlovinggirl3 жыл бұрын
@@SuAva I did not know that! I just suddenly imagined him in a leo and that comment was just very unexpectedly different from what I had assumed it would be 😅

When they say "I love you" to their coaches, it warms my heart. Elite gymnastics needs to learn from collegiate gymnastics! This is what a coach - athlete relationship should be!

I am very sad that Anna was so close to compete again and then the season was finished, but she made a huge impact at UCLA athletics. Mental health is not a game. 💛 Also I love Pulla: that’s my favorite event because I don’t do it!!! I LOVE HEEEER! Can’t believe she’s a senior now 🥺🥺🥺🥺🤧🤧🤧 Deanna, I said this before and say it now: This videos are amazinnnng! 😍

So true! Though it's awesome that Anna left her legacy in UCLA Athletics with her Bruin Brave initiative! That's something that carries on to next generations.

I love Chris "they're not crying because I'm their inspiration". Hats off to Kalyany taking it like a champ when Chris pulls her from the lineup so maddie could be in. The end where Nia talks about the senior meet being potentially cancelled and classes moving online for the rest of the semester seems like such a lifetime ago. So proud of the girls and all they did this season, thank you for yet another wonderful video Deanna/team!

I cried when they cancelled the season. My heart hurts SO badly for these seniors. My hope is next season, UCLA will do a "senior" meet honoring the Class of 2020 where they can perform their routines ❤️

I think that even if it wasn’t called the new era they should do it each year it helps so much to get to know the girls personal struggles. I love this team so much and are such an inspiration.

What a contrast to elite gymnastics.... developed bodies, positive teammates and coaches, and a focus on mental health. Love it

23 career 9.975s for Kyla? That's insane. How many of those should have been a 10? Most?

And 22 career perfect tens. She has just as many perfect scores as near perfect scores. I think she has a total of something over a HUNDRED 9.95+ scores. Which is insane, considering that this season was cut short.

Also I love this team SO much. When my gymnastics coaches told me I would never amount to anything and I got seriously injured, I didn't go back even though I loved gymnastics so much. UCLA has helped me find that love again and I'm training gymnastics again doing what I love. When no one else believed in me, Miss. Val took the time to email me (someone who has nothing to offer her) and encourage me to do what I love without focusing on the final result. As long as you do what makes your heart skip a beat, you are doing the right thing ❤️ My dream is to go to UCLA because it is the first campus where I felt being who I was was okay.

This team is absolutely beautiful and amazing. Each girl is so supportive of all of them, the coaches are incredible human beings. I love everything about college gymnastics and UCLA is my favourite team by far! The only one I watch! I literally get goosebumps when I see the support and encouragement from the coaches and team members. I also nearly cry they are all so amazing. Also, the fact that she and all them put this together for mental health is absolutely incredible. Mental health is crucial, just as physical health is. I'm a mental health advocate and use Instagram and KZfaq to reach people who are struggling and to see this team help others and help end the stigma, my gosh I don't even know what to say. They are incredible souls

Most student athletes want to join a program for the coaches and for what their record can do for their professional careers. For aspiring college gymnasts to want to join UCLA's program SPECIFICALLY because of the athletes themselves will hopefully change how college recruiting works for the better.

I have a question. Do all athletes train for all four events? Or do some specialize? I realized that I've never seen Gracie Kramer on bars for example.
@m0_0nturtle3 жыл бұрын
they specialize for sure, Gracie was specifically recruited for vault if I recall correctly. which is why it's so amazing to see her shine on other events especially floor!!
