Best crowd I've seen/heard since 2010 when we were ranked 21 and beat no. 1 ranked Texas in Gampel. Young Kemba, Jerome Dyson, Stanley Robinson, Ater Majok. They stormed the court that game. This is our time again.

This was the first UConn Big East game since rejoining that I attended. After being a student through the dark AAC and Olie years, this game fulfilled something that was missing for me as a basketball fan for a long time. I am just so happy for these kids and this team for finally reminding everyone who UConn is.

Feels SO good to be back. And it's not just the winning and contending, it's the level of play we see now on the court, the heads-up passes, suffocating D, constant player movement, and shooting touch around the rim. Been missing for years.

There was so much energy at the game, So intense, so electrifying. It touched me in my living room 😆. IT WAS SO ENTERTAINING. It was so good. That is a game for the ages :} GO HUSKIESSS

@@alexsenyk6530 I was actually at the game and I’ll tell you this is the most “FUCK YOU REF” and “REF YOU SUCK” chants I’ve ever heard. Until the last minute the game was heavily favouring Villanova. We even didn’t have a coach for 3/4 of the game because of a bs call.

The thing about the court storm is yeah, we are UConn and we don’t do that BUT with all the players (Isaiah and Tyler mainly) and the students have been through in the dumps in the AAC, having close games with the likes of Tulsa and East Carolina, Covid pause; changing of the coach, etc, they have not had a moment like this in a VERY VERY VERY long time. 8/9 years almost. So they deserved it! Storm that court! Tonight the boys got over the hump to a team who literally took over the castle once we left. But now we are back home in the BE! It’s time to take back what’s ours.

Thank you for posting this. Man what a game. An all around great effort by every player on the team. So happy for Gaffney. To come into the game and hit a 3 right away and then play good D to give Cole some rest time. Also Whaley getting those offensive rebounds and extra points. Really thought we were screwed down 69-65 with 26.2 seconds left. God bless Tyler Polley and RJ Cole. Go huskies!

That was a vintage, 1990s, Calhoun-era UConn game. Funny how UConn fans stormed the court. Back in the day, it was the opposite because wins like this were expected. Anyway, it’s been tough on and off the court recently, so the kids needed to blow off steam.

I love how Tyler Polley got his redemption after missing the shot in the Big East Tournament last year. Incredible game, insane crowd(I was at this game) and so happy for the team. Especially Polley and Whaley, who had to go through several losing seasons and a coaching change to get to this point. FIGHT ON CONNECTICUT

This was an old time Big East rumble. Outstanding job by the crowd at the XL they showed up and were a factor. Long time since we've had that kind of home court. Wasn't thrilled by the court storming but I get it. The ejection of Hurley was bush league. This team is starting to look like a team that can make some noise. They need Polley and Hawkins to come in games and make shots. When that happens they can beat anyone.

Storrs fans if you die today will you go to heaven? Have you ever lied, stolen, hated, used God's name as a curse word (O-M-G)? According to God's law, you're guilty, your headed for hell, ignorance will not be an excuse... But wait, God loves you, he made a way out for you, God's son Jesus died paying for your sin. God so loved the world that he gave his only son that whoever believes in him will not die but have everlasting life. John 3:16 Please think about your eternal life, believe and repent, Love Y'all

Bs call to take away possession from Villanova when they manhandled Collin Gillespie
@Ok-dm1ck2 жыл бұрын
BS call to eject our coach for hyping up the crowd. And the first tech on Hurley was because he was arguing three straight terrible calls against UConn. We didn’t have our coach for more than half the game and still won. Don’t act like the refs lost the game for you, Collin Gillespie had a chance to score but instead committed and offensive foul. Just accept that you lost
@rovingwarrior37102 жыл бұрын
CG should have tried to move the ball instead of holding onto it, waiting for a foul call to shoot free throws. By just holding the ball, he allowed the tie up to happen and the tie up should have been called sooner than it actually was.
