It’s getting embarrassing at this point as to the confidence I have in Uconn seniors to do anything other than disappoint remarkably. I genuinely feel as though Geno can go out there and field a team of freshman & Paige and you will play significantly better. Those girls are hungry at least. I see no fire or will to battle from any of the seniors, time and time again when the freshman shine they fade away. Is it complacency? Are there some ego’s in the locker room we don’t know about. It’s gotta be something

I’m really seeing a pattern here where the seniors disappear and a freshman steps in. Same thing was happening last season with Paige, this could’ve been an amazing win for them if somebody other than Caroline stepped up. Their offense really killed them in this game. I thought their defense wasn’t bad at all, it just wasn’t enough to stop those tough guards from Louisville.

Setting aside their anemic and abysmal shooting for a moment, their passing was atrocious...lazy and telegraphed repeatedly that even a visually challenged myopic a mile away could see those coming. Especially Evina. Kudos to Caroline. True grit.

Considering our injury issues at guard right now I'm really not too upset that we lost, especially when we only lost by 5 and were in the game all throughout. However I will say this: If Evina and Christyn arent gonna contribute as much on the scoreboard they could at least take care of the ball a bit better. Lackadaisical passing is a bit of an issue and I can't stop thinking about the sequence of back-to-back bad passes by Evina late in the second quarter that led to two straight threes by Louisville and cut our eight point lead down to two. Those little scoring spurts by your opponent can come back to haunt you later on if the game gets tighter and without those six points before the half who knows how the rest of the game turns out. Take care of the ball ladies!!

UCONN will be a better team when all is said and done. The pressure to uphold that UCONN image is off. I wouldn't be surprised to see them in the Elite 8 or maybe even the Final 4 come March. I guess we'll see. Definitely need scoring contributions from more players. Good luck, Huskies!

Carolina Dusharme played an excellent game they should have set some screens for her for easier Shot's.

Gino needs to substitute more for his starters because most of them pooped out in the 4th quarter. When Nika & Azzi come back, I'm looking for Chrystin to be benched. Evina might get splinters too. That said, Gino will probably best off rotating Azi, Caroline, Nika, & Christian as well as Dorka, Evina, the Dodo & Edwards. Stop running your starting crew into the ground, Gino.

Olivia & Christian as Senior will become successful when Geno chance his offence. Olivia can be 3 Doka 5 feberry I to 4 then pick &roll will become unpredictable. Dear Uconn fans, Shut up, you guys are spoiled. Your team lost arguably the best player in the country, has to build new chemistry, loss two games to teams to teams they could have loss to with Paige and you guys act like the sky is falling. Nelson Ododa rebounding and passing keep the game close. When she went out late in the 4th that's when Louisville pulled away. Still with all that being said they still had a chance to win late in the game against a top 5 team in the country. Geno has been one of the best coaches of all time and now you guys want to tell him how to coach. He made those 11 championships look easy. Instead of crying about what didn't happen you should be happy a player like Durchame get to step her game up. A lot of yall just sound pathetic. Support your team and stop throwing the black girls under the bus.
