I did the candle man from a previous video, actually made several they were very fun to makes. The bucket of water putting them out will be more fun to try!

Fantastic work! I’d love to see you carve a chess set with faces in a similar style. Reminds me of the classic Peter Ganine Gothic Sculptured chess sets.

Fantastic. I have been having a heck of a time with my faces chipping. I’ll be making eye cuts and as I make the cut the whole lid will crack off. I like your method of carving faces. I’ll give it a shot.

Your method for carving eyes are like no one else on KZfaq. They are so simple yet so perfect. I wish you would film your other figures of the same theme but I understand that filming and editing can be a lot of work. Do you carve those others alone or among your family and friends?

Great video, tank you. It seems you are using a Beavercraft knife. I have a similar in that size, but I need a lot more power than you to use it. Have you sharpened the knife with a new smaller angle?
