This movie is criminally underrated. A true masterpiece that failed to get the hype and recognition it deserved. Good thing it made it into the Oscar library.

He was not drunk ,he was playing the character of depressed magician wanted to end his life because he was paralyzed (whole body) ,so she was dancing just to make him happy for sometime ❤️

HR was a famous magician that got paralyzed and after years of struggling, he was tired and applied to the courts to get euthanized. Aish is his nurse that is usually extremely buttoned down and very serious. He always joked/flirted with her that the day he gets to see her legs is the day he regains his ability to walk again. This scene is after he went to court and the defense delayed his hearing and so he was depressed. Aish brought him to this bar (his mom used to worked here) but when she strictly refused for him to drink liquor, but gave him broth instead, it further dampen his mood. So now Aish is trying to compromise and loosen a button or two.

This film was a so heard-breaking story... And this part is good parts of movie. He is a former dancer and stage performer and he had an stage acccident. and she is his nurse. He has a paralyzed from the neck down. You need to watch its a good movie and good story. Emily Clark have a movie like that 2016. But Guzaarish is 2010.
