You have to appreciate and understand the art of music to really know what Oxlade has accomplished here. At first I was wondering why he was straining his vocal chord so much, then it hit me... this kid is replicating the vocals of a lead singer and backup singers(male and female) all at the same damn time. My throat got dry just watching him sing. Sheesh! Bravo Oxlade, Bravo!

He actually left church when he started going secular. Being the choir master then, the church couldn’t contain him any longer, so he has to move on.

For guys that were quick to criticize his vocals, he did well. Maybe not perfect though. He obviously needed backup. He was doing too much because the original songs had too many backing tracks. Great performance though.

We all know Oxlade is a talented recording artist, but I'm not going to lie, this live performance didn't do most of the songs justice. The EP is phenomenal, and I would love to see a SPAX + Oxlade project because both of them are a match made in heaven. Shout out to Alternate sound, they did their thing.

Honestly the singing was all over the place, and the forced falsetto ehn. I don't think he planned this performance. Good thing is, it can only get better from here. I hope he has a team that can give him genuine feedback, not those that will be telling him he killed it even when they he did not wound anything, not to talk of killing it.

Everyone saying bad performance...forgetting that those songs require back ups... he did the songs without. It's really strenuous to do such. I only think needs to get acquainted with a band through constant rehearsals.... Aside the pianist, other instrumentals didn't seem to go well with the flow. He should learn how to do live stuffs like this.
