It’s technically not… LoR game uydr their own VGU when they found out he was being reworked… so while they are working along the same theme and identity ideas it’s not the same VGU.

Caitlyn’s VGU was shown in Legends of Runeterra before League as well

@@Mvshiroo I played Udyr a lot back when I still played lol. Was also fun with my brother who would usually be olaf on toplane back then. Though that is a few seasons back. But it was fun if some random opponentjungler thought it would be a good idea to invade when we both are lvl 2. I have no ult as udyr, that means my normal abilites have to be stronger, so fighting my tiger lvl 2 is not a good idea.

@@oaicua98 well if you think about it thats one specific archtype. Lots of keywords counter each other. And formidable is a hard counter to overwhelm and agro decks as they gain tones of health rather then attack. It also hard counters frostbite and troll chant. Two very powerful mechanics and cards. Suddenly darius, sion, trend are no longer so scary.

Swain also likes Scarground, he instant lvs after a single Aoe and it has a fair few ways to hit nexus with burn. Helps that he himself is an alt wincon that happens to work well with the scargrounds itself.

@@mgtmusic2926 yeah, i don't think that 8 drop is as good as the 9 drop from demacia because the 9 drop is like the elusive, not every card have more health than like 10 or 15 and you can heal and get body with it too, 9 mana heal to 10 and 1 body is pretty good. If you can get it health up then even better, the 8 drop here can be freeze, just too bad for 8 mana. I think this is the epic card of this expansion

Yeah same here. I’m an ornn devotee but udyr looks absolutely amazing. I love how well animated his stances are too. I think if udyr isn’t meta his stances will still change FJ decks anyway.

Not really, LoR team had to imagine what Udyr's VGU could be since the VGU is still in work. But I really hope LoL's team will take some inspirations from this, it looks absolutely fantastic

They took in his new stances and they're probably keeping the same VA but the model won't be the same

It's all cuz the LoL vgu is taking a long time. LoR had to go ahead and get their Udyr ready, so this isn't going to be Udyr's look in LoL or reflect what he does there.

Actually, rereading the dev note about LoR Udyr, it specifically notes that it is different from LoL Udyr in that LoR Udyr stances are from Freljordian animals while LoL Udyr is from demigods. The demigods and animals have no direct relation to each other.

@@flextape467 Aggro is short for agressive. This card counters every early game agressive decks while pushing damage necessary to level udyr. But even without Udyr, this card will be included in every trundle/Trynda decks. Insane in my opinion

@@flextape467 aggro is essentially a deck that focuses all on its power on the early game. Like for example discard aggro, where you essentially vomit your hand onto the board and hope to get the opponent down to maybe 2 or 3 hp at around turn 5 or 6, so you can finish him off with a damagespell. Well anti-aggro on the other hand is something that would have a good chance at winning vs aggro. That could include spells that kill a bunch of cheap units, options to stall (prevent the opponent from winning) etc. Bonescryer is a unit with a lot of hp, that punishes the opponent for getting damaged. So if you get that unit on board, it can block 2 or 3 times at least and hurt the opponent at the same time, giving you more time to prepare your deck for turning the tide.

Actually, this is somewhat unrelated to the VGU.

The card's effect is that enemies with 3 or less power can't block ANY of your attackers, not just that card. It's like Ashe's level 2 but with 3 instead of 0 as the power threshold.

That card straight up counter Galio deck..since galio deck all have no power
