0:02 GSP: Is his suit nicer than mine?

This is why when GSP left the sport after the hendricks fight, I took it by surprise. I remember watching this video before the hendricks fight and as you can see, it didn't even look like GSP was tired of fighting or that he had lost his fire. He seemed very fired up in this interview especially with the super fight talks. I hope he comes back

Yeah. He summed it up pretty well. It's on the guy that's clearly losing to change something. If he were to try something else then that would possibly create opportunities for the guy winning to take advantage and maybe please the fans or maybe it would make the fight more competitive. Rory fought a great fight.

I think he might be hinting that the silva fight is still in the works. Since silva lost there is a lot less pressure on them both to win, now it can just be a legends match for the fans. I hope we get to see that before one of them retires.

GSP does what he needs to do to win each fight. He adapts and changes what he does based on who he's fighting. He'll know everything that Hendricks can do and be ready for it. The only way I see Hendricks having a chance is if he gets lucky and catches GSP with that power shot. I doubt that will happen.

I agree with GSP's comment on Rory's fight.People are forgetting who Ellenburger is.He's been destroying people.Now people are saying give him Lawler so he can get his ass kicked.I think Ellenburger is better than Lawler.Rory completely shut down Ellenbuger.People don't understand what an amazing feat that actually is.

Bendo doesn't stall. Have you seen any of his fights? The brutal upkick to Edgar? Knocking down Nate Diaz? The awesome 5-rounder against Pettis? You want to watch someone stall? Watch a Clay Guida fight. Benson does not stall. Georges isn't super-active either but he's never stalling.

GSP has been saying he thinks he is on the small side for WW in interviews. He usually fights bigger opponents in the most competitive weight class and while he can win, they are hard for him to finish. His dimensions (height/ reach) are about identical to Pettis. I wonder if he is thinking about moving down to open up the division to Rory and be able to stay champ without taking brain and body damage for longer. GSP vs Pettis at 155 would actually be a pretty sweet fight...

How can someone not like GSP? He is a great champion. If people don't like his style they should change the rules and scoring. Which I think they should. But GSP is great and I think he would do well under any rules. A great great champion.

I respect GSP because he does MMA because he loves it! Listen to him talking about the Rory Mcdonald fight, doesn't care for showtime highlight knockouts. I think he considers MMA an art, that's why he can enjoy "Boring" fights.

MW is the popular opinion for years but the surprise is LW. He said before camp he is below 190 and after he is below 180 that is the same weight as Bendo Gray Gil TJ Josh etc. GSP is no longer a big ww and would be a small mw.

What YOU may like as a fan differs from many other people and vice versa. GSP dominating the WW division for years, and making it look easy. You mentioned Jack Dempsey, John L Sullivan hardcore fans would rate them as high as you do but if you were to ask casual fans not many would know who they are. Same goes for GSP true fans of MMA know, appreciate and will remember him 10, 15 even 20 years from now. Lastly as great as Silva is Ali, Frazier, Foreman, Liston he is not.

Boring fights for the fans may mean no one gets knocked out, but to me a real fan knows how much smarts and training it takes to avoid getting destroyed in the cage. To me the best fighters avoid damage. Like GSP, Machida, Anderson Silva, Jones..

Dude is fighting in the most competitive weight class against opponents that are usually naturally much bigger than him. He is like the Allen Iverson of MMA. If you really know MMA skills, you like watching him as the master of fundamentals, if you are just a casual fan, you are wondering why he isn't throwing sloppy hay makers to get a KO.

GSP's decisions are usually more decisive wins than any finish:D He dominates his opponents like no one else:D Except Jones before he fought Gus. I want GSP to play it less safe, but that is up to the rules.

Everybody should get off their back about fighting each other. It really makes no sense from their own perspectives training together every day. It is like running into a team mate at a crazy wrestling tournament. It just sucks and honesty, you may be able to beat a guy who is better than you overall because you train with him every day and know his tactics so well you counter him but that guy is the better fighter overall in that he'd beat guys you could not. That kind of thing spoils fights

I don't see why everyone expected Silva vs GSP. As amazing as it would have been, I would love to see Henderson vs. GSP. I just don't get why no one seemed to have considered that until Silva lost, it made more sense to me for GSP to take Bendo on (or Pettis if he wins their upcoming rematch!). And if GSP loses to Hendricksm Rory can fight for the WW title, while GSP moves down a weight class? Course if GSP lost to Hendricks he would get a rematch so who knows...

I've watched a lot of GSP interviews talking about super fights and weight divisions. This is the first one I've ever seen where he says 'it's only 15 pounds between divisions'. I think he wants to go after Benson.

I gotta agree with Gsp on the Rory-Jake fight. Not a fan of either but they are both great fighters. Rory and Jake had a lot of hype with that fight and Rory was the one controlling. It was a 'boring' fight but like Gsp said Jake should have threw more strikes and went for more takedowns...
