For people who didn't watch the fight this is basically what happened Derrick Lewis back flared up and affected him and Francis was scared of losing his stamina so didn't want to throw punches.

there is more to it than just holding stamina , because if that was the case, Francis would have went all out punching in the 3rd. He got a reality check when he fought miocic, I don't think he ever got over that fight.

I've never really been a fan of Darrick Lewis, nor a hater...just kind of indifferent. After this interview though I'm sold on him and have nothing but respect for his honesty. Despite his back issues he didn't BS about it and seems genuinely disappointed that he couldn't do more and that's hard not to admire. Here's to a healthy future and seeing him back to full form!

Ngannou is an amateur in pretty much all aspects of the game except for one. Anyone who knows the sport saw this a long time ago. This fight was an easy pick to make some money. Not pretty, but easy.

Herb Dean should have interfered way earlier, when he did they kinda engaged more. And I think N’Gannou would have kicked Lewis’ ass if he ever had some more motivation to be there. He even got a takedown after the third bell rang.
