@@royharper2003 yes ... here in Brazil this discussion happens all the time ... in the UFC Cris herself was facing more bantamweight than featherweight athletes ... She has a beautiful story, but she started early in MMA, when there were few organizations or women to fight, so the level of the sport does not compare to current times.

@@Viradojiraiya I know but she did have the 1 lost 20 wins in a record to back it up. Though it was not as bad as Pena 12 fights 2 she lost to fighters that Amanda had won against. The problem is Amanda is not toughest looking fighter she smiles has positive energy and waits to after the match to diss you like with Rhonda Rousey. Cyborg and Pena didn't take Amanda seriously and I think with Pena she could of ended that match early. Cyborg traded punches with another striker and lost. Pena was pregnant at the time Nunes won the belt from Miesha Tate. Nunes is a humble person she gave Pena all the time to recover when she knocked her down. I have seen Nunes once she knocks you down she starts mauling you. Never disrespect a champion again or you will pay.

Amanda BEAT and Knocked down Julianna 3 times by Punching and wrestling. Julianna got a wound on FOREHEAD that's why Surgical stitches was made. Amanda is dominated Julianna

@@tinaruzol7256 I totally agree but I think Amanda gave her time to get up. Usually when she knocks she down she mauls you. I know if I had Amanda skills I would. I think she was satisfied looking down at her. I love her a great fighter nobody is invincible but it how you handle defeat. Cyborg was all class unlike Rousey to defeat.

@@ashishdayal7560 actually when the fight started nunes threw a jab and an overhand and she connected while cyborg was going crazy and throwing hooks like she always does and didn’t connect any of them, after that nunes almost dropped her with a leg kick and clocked her 3 times that’s when cyborg rushed in and got dropped she didn’t even connect once it wasn’t luck because nunes was still connecting and dominating the fight before she rushed in and nunes was dodging all these hooks, when cyborg was hurt nunes completely ate her while cyborg was standing there getting hit over and over again. Cyborg had power but the difference between them is that Nunes has power and accuracy she doesn’t go crazy she hits the target and knocks people out just like she did to cyborg. And accuracy will always win so if they fight again nunes will counter and do the same thing again. Because Cyborg thought Nunes was just another girl I’m going to smash and she finally ran into the wrong one.

Sexism is too harsh, but I agree this fight should've been the main event. It's a champ vs champ match for crying out loud. Not to mention Cyborg calling Nunez a traitor of Brazil for going after her belt rather than Shevchenko's. I was way more hyped for this fight than the Jones fight

On any other show this would be the main event, but any promoter would put a rematch between the GOAT and the one who was closest to beating him(at least at that time) at main event over any fight.
