Santos game-plan was by far the best we’ve seen against jones. He was smart with his strikes and was actually putting more leg kick pressure on jones (jones secret weapon) he also paced himself perfectly. I think if he had not torn his own ACL midway, the momentum he had for round 5 would have been the moment he connected. He was chasing Jon with no knee the whole end of round 5!

Who didn't like the Jones vs Santos fight??? Casuals and non fight fans are the only ones that would complain about this fight SMFH. I am and always have been a boxing fan since 12 and I myself boxed at a legit boxing gym with a great trainer who was a very good amateur and up and up and coming heavyweight prospect. After seeing that fight, I was super impressed with how streamlined, polished and frankly how far the science of fighting in MMA has come since it's (recent in the development of fighting systems) inception. I loved how the proper strikes where thrown at the right timing and distance. Both fighters fought a great fight.
