UFC 280: Oliveira vs Makhachev is an upcoming mixed martial arts event produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship that will take place on October 22nd, 2022 in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Charles Oliveira who has continued to prove the doubters wrong will headline the event against the heir apparent to Khabib Nurmagomedov’s throne. Although Oliveira lost his belt on the scale by .05 pounds the last time he fought, it only made him better and more hungry as he took out the powerful Justin Gaethje in one round. To him, and most around the world, he is still the champion despite not technically holding the belt. Islam Makhachev on the other hand, looks to take what he believes is his, and his long time friend and training partner Khabib retired. This fight should be insane!

@@jsavage9134 MMA Math doesn’t work, I don’t understand why people think just because one guy got the win over another, he would get the win over someone entirely different. We never saw what Khabib would’ve done to Tony, we never saw what Makhachev would’ve done to Tony or Tony to them. If this match happens, it’s gonna be an absolute banger that’s for sure though.

@@sisqomisqo2019 I wasn’t using MMA math 😂 I just said look what Charles did to Tony, skill for skill Charles wrecked Tony, yet Tony was supposed to be the one to have the skill to go toe to toe with Khabib and btw MMA math does work when you’re comparing skills, I’ve been watching the sport since 2009, Chael has even spoken on MMA math on his KZfaq channel and flat stated, it does work and and comparing skills is what MMA math really is! But to your point I hope Charles wrecks Islam and calls for Khabib and Khabib comes back, that match would 100% be a banger and it’s a dream match of mine, though Islam isn’t a joke by any means but I don’t see Islam beating Charles anywhere tbh, we can say MMA math works or doesn’t work but I’ve went back and watched some Islam fights, here’s where I strongly believe MMA math if that’s what’s what you wanna call it here does work, Islam has been caught in a guillotine a few times going for TD’s and slipped out, if this happens vs Charles, I think Islam either taps or goes to sleep. Islam better be careful on how he goes for TD’s against Charles.

@@bossman5359 when makhecov has the most bonuses, the most submissions, the most fights stoppages, the title of fighter of the year, almost the most win record (21 vs 24) and when he has the hability to finish someone without a man saying what he has to do (khabib telling every move islam need to do during the fights), you will be able to afirm that islam is the best. But now, he is just the guy who earned a title shot after has beaten a not ranked guy in a short notice, while he is going to fight the champion, who have proved why he is the best.
