Saying the same thing. It’s so weird to me. It’s my least excited about fight on card. Every other fight can either be on any PPV or a fight night main event except Bo. Get that guy some competition after this. Then put him on a PPV main card deservingly.

@@tristancarter6630 the Bo fight is the only one I’m not interested in on the card. Have that be 2 fights before yiri and then add Yusuff vs Lopes fight before that one so that you can go pee and order food. Watching the entire card without a bathroom break or food break is impossible so have those fights back to back so that you miss the one round of Bo and maybe 1-2 rounds of the other in case the time goes fast. Having that fight as the opener on the PPV after the Jiri fight and before the Arman and Carlie Olives fight. You can’t miss those two.

But that is obviously the path the UFC has chosen, as a rule, they don't do merit-based match ups. MMA is the only sport I consistently watch, but Dana and the blatant corruption are making it harder and harder.

Bo Nickal is a seriously good grappler. Khamzat doesn't want to fight Bo. Bo Nickal and Gordon Ryan have had grappling sessions and Bo doesn't get handled like everyone else. Bo actually gives Gordon Ryan a run for his money. Bo Nickal is legit and he fights more than once a year...it just so happens he took some time off. He's had quite a number of fights within the past couple of years.

Oh man I’m so excited. Most stacked card top to bottom in recent memory for sure. Possibly history but recency bias is real but man there’s so many fights that have either KO of the night or fight of the night candidates. Also of the year nominees/winners. Every fight is PPV card worthy on any other card. There’s two PPV main events the main and the BMF title fight. All but two could headline a FightNight card as well and I wouldn’t be mad about it. 1 of those 2 for some reason is on the PPV card (Bo needs some competition after this finish) So Excited almost feel bad for the fight night card before it. Hahaha It’s crazy too that I’d be happy and excited for either LHW champ and either BMF winner!! I love and enjoy all 4 fighters they’re all in my top 10 favorite active fighter list.

I swear I see a Max Holloway win by late stoppage, I know it sounds crazy, but I think 300 is gonna be filled with crazy things people didn't expect to see. I think there's gonna be a lot of broken hearts and highlights. Jamahal, Yan, Justin and Max, Arman, Rakic, Kattar, Jalin Turner, and Figgy all have fairly good odds at destroying their opponents and fans feel good story, Justin and Max both because whoever loses will be a sad sight, with potential for violent endings to make it even worse.

About an hr ago I randomly envisioned Max winning a very close decision that could go either way. My thinking is if Max does happen to win like that, the UFC will then have a pretty big fight to make between Max and Topuria in Spain 🇪🇸. Max has some miles on him but The Highlight is the older man. I only see him being around for 2, maaybe 3 more yrs. But since he only lost by the smallest of margins, his stock doesn’t drop a whole lot. And there will still potential be a few more fun fights to make with him before he’s done..like a possible trilogy with Dustin for example.

I can’t find any fights where I’m 100% sure they will go the distance. I’m predicting there will be 4KO’s 6 subs 3 decisions But as I go through only 3 fights I’m very confident won’t make it to the judges are Bo 💯 and Weili and Harrison all the rest can be stoppages or decisions and it’s so nice that all these fights have fight ending potential. Very rare. My only locks are: Bo by finish Weili to win (not quite willing to say guarantee finish but close) Figgy to win and Harrison to win (almost wanna throw in a lock to finish as well.

Man fr this fight has probably the two smartest LHW strikers on the roster. Jiri is there too but he puts himself in too many bad spots to be labeled as a higher IQ than these two.

What fight will go the distance 5. Your upset of the night 6. What fight would you definitely not bet on because you can’t decide. 7. If you had to parlay 3-5 things which would you pick? Mine are… 1. FOTN Gaethje vs Hollaway 2. KO by Hill 3. Nickle gets sub 4. Fight to go distance Yusuff vs Lopes 5. Charlie Olives gets upset 6. Jiri and Rakic I wouldn’t bet on. Lines to close and the public is going with Jiri but he’s still a slight dog. It’s a little too weird. Can’t even decide if it will go the distance or not. 7. My parlay would be.. Weili to win Bo wins in 1st round Gaetjhe/Hollaway Over 3.5 rounds Harrison gets a finish

Justin Gaethje ISN'T the 1st Contender of LW. Dana has said that many times. Being called out by the Champion doesn't mean that you're the 1st Contender. Otherwise the 1st Contender of LW would be Justin, Dustin, Edwards, Ília and McGregor. Dana said multiple times since Oliveira had his accident that he's still the 1st Contender and that this fight with Arman is happening because Makhachev told UFC that he would only ve available to fight in August...

@@baptistofori8780 That's the fanboy talking. Most fighters that come from ANY UFC show aren't champ material (Serra, Evans, Forrest...all lost their titles the very next fight). Most guys that are good, don't need the stupid UFC shows.....they are getting good bags and experience outside the circus.

7:57 Max should definitely NOT be challenging Ilia for the FW title...if anyone in the sport has earned an immediate rematch, it's Volk. Obviously with some time off but still, it's just gross how quickly people are willing to forget about such a legend of the sport and division.
