Conor McGregor isn't even close to being the G.O.A.T, arguments could be made for Fedor, Jon Jones, Dominick Cruz, DJ, GSP & Anderson Silva. Conor isn't even the best in his division, let alone MMA history.

Huh? He has broken more records than them?? He's broken ONE. He was champ in two weight classes AT THE SAME TIME. Plenty of other people have won the belt in two weight classes. Hell, BJ Penn fought Machida at LHW. If you are thinking PPV records. Who cares? The biggest draw doesn't mean the greatest of all time, not even close. He also got stuck in a potential trilogy with Nate Did at Welterweight..... Diaz is unranked at WW. Has fought there twice. He's a great fighter but he doesn't hold a candle to the other guys. They all significantly evolved their games after winning championships through multiple defenses. There's still time for Conor, he's certainly capable of being in the mix.... just needs a few more fights. I'd say 3 defenses at LW would put him there.... LW is a murderers row so it's a tough belt to retain. He pulls that off... to no where near the streak DJ has and I'll put him in the mix simply based on his competition level.

Well hes a few legacy fights from being in the conversation, hes already beaten Mendes, Aldo, Holloway, Diaz at 170 pounds where everybody wrote him off and Eddie Alvarez who just obliterated RDA and became the first ever simultaneous two weight world champion on the first ever card in MSG in doing so not to mention also thrusting the UFC into mainstream popularity. I have watched it all my life and know the history of the sport inside out he is definitely in the conversation and trending in the right direction though Jones and GSP are still above him right now due to volume of work. Supposed "hardcore fans" are so pathetically predictable they cry all day about how the sport is the best in the world and deserves more recognition then when a legitimate superstar like McGregor comes along and puts the sport on the map in main stream media/audiences they then cry about how they hate all the new fans and attention on the sport because everyone is a casual. You don't get to have both of those morons pick one or the other.
