I have nothing to do with MMA fights and such. Ronda was the one who made me develop an interest in it, and find how it can connect with so many other aspects of living! I think 'the greats' do that for all people, no matter the subject or our preferences and differences, our likes and dislikes, you know? No matter how things turned out or keep turning out I think we can all agree she is an inspirational woman, for females most of all and then just everyone! Having said that though, I think she needs to work on her wisdom/humility. I still love her, thank her, and really believe she still has so much to show and offer the rest of us. And I'll be right here to watch it -

Im sickened, its not Ronda who sucks, its her coach, he convinced her she can stand with the best and submit the better, he convinced her that she can demolish people in the first round but if she becomes more patient, gets a better defence and becomes less panicky when she cant clinch she will become a champ agaon.

She didn't want and or know how to evolve. In her mind she was the best and invincible. She can't handle loosing. Matt Gaynor Are you high? She brought MMA to a wider audience and made womens' fighting mainstream. Look at the women fighting in the UFC now and their talent levels. There wouldn't have been the rapid rise and investment in the womens' divisions if she hadn't been armbarring her way through opponents making people want to watch. There were always worthwhile fighters but none that had the charisma and finishing ability to bring MMA to every casual's attention and hit the mainstream in such a way as to inspire more girls to pursue it. She defended the strap a record number of times and the two women directly after lost in their first defences, the first to a woman Rousey beat - twice. Tate. You are high if you can't see how the landscape of MMA changed in the few years Rousey was fighting for the UFC.

Why don't you explain why _you're_ right? Go look up his achievements and get back to us. Submission wrestler who beat the legend, Gomi, BJJ phenom, TUF winner, welterweight champ (defeated the greatest Welterweight in UFC history), coach, cornerman, developed and helped shape talent like Raging Al and former middleweight champ Chris Weidman. Assistant coach on TUF, personality on Looking for a Fight, and UFC Unfiltered, respected and liked by fans and fighters alike. Dedicated his life to the sport of MMA, and represents it happily and well - is still coaching and cornering fighters alongside Longo - was a part of the generation defining the meaning of those three letters, MMA... ... hence: Pioneer Wing of Hall of Fame. For all those who repeat like parrots that Ronda was overvalued I say: overvalued yes like the dollar, but everyone wants that currency because even overvalued it is a safe value. Para todos los que repiten como papagayos que Ronda estuvo sobrevalorada yo les digo: sobrevalorada sí como el Dolar, pero todos quieren de esa moneda porque aun sobrevalorada es un valor seguro.

Rhonda in the Hall of Fame disagree she never avenged a single loss and never even attempted for a rematch that speaks volumes of her heart. Never was able to show any respect for any of her opponents zero ability to show sportsmanship

She was an over rated over hyped “champion” who went into hiding after her first loss and never showed her face again, and never bounced back like a true champ would.

Isjhoel Canizales have you been watching her whole career. beating fighters seconds. Won the strike force belt 4 matches in! Earned the belt in the UFC, defended that belt. 6th times. Came back a year later fight for the belt. That's some guts.

Holly seriously punished Ronda,,,,, she was never the same fighter after that beating ,,,,,, not just physically or mentally, Holly Holmes took Ronda's spirit and aura of invincibility,,,, totally destroyed her.

Jonathan Lechan oh she did she basically carved out that whole woman's division,,,,,, totally brilliant ,,, but that beating,,,, a beating like that changes fighters,,,, Tyson was never the same after buster Douglass thrashed him,,,, and it's the same for Ronda,,,,

You idiots can hate in Ronda all you want but none of it will change the fact that she made history. She’s pioneered Women’s MMA into the UFC, 1st Womens Bantamweight Champ, 1st Womens UFC overall Champ, 1st Womens Olympian UFC champ, 12-2 and only lost to a 19x boxing champion and the current champ, and now she’s the 1st Woman in the UFC Hall of Fame. You ain’t gotta like her but if you don’t respect that, you don’t deserve to watch MMA

I'm feel very mixed with Ronda Rousey's award. Yes she did a lot for promoting women's MMA, but any of the other women around at that time could have been advertised to such a large media platform. Yes I agree she did have an amazing winning streak at the beginning, but as the sport evolved her limited fight skillset was exposed and her poor sportsmanship. I think if she had been more graceful like Meisha Tate at the end and just wished the new up coming, stronger fighters all the best and accepted that was no longer one of the best (next generation), I would have more respect and welcomed this award. Her attitude towards the end was not a positive role model to others and awards like this just emphasise that this behaviour and attitude is acceptable to future generations in and outside MMA. Great sportsmanship always ranks highly for me.
