There's actually a win win scenario in the main event. If Whittaker wins by decision but Ikram wins two rounds or just looks great during the fight then both guys will have a good result for their careers. Ikram could probably get a top ten ranking from just not getting finished and doing good work even if he looses @@LeftLaneMMA

I wonder if whittaker will try to plant his feet & throw like he did against costa rather than his usual blitz because ikram may try to time takedowns off the blitz,im interested to see the grappling exchanges i think khamzat has better wrestling than ikram,but ikram is a multiple time sambo champ so his grappling is still pretty good

I don't think it's the vibe only. Ikram is a bad match-up for Whittaker, because he is an elite grappler, has good power, is very physically strong, and likes to pressure his opponents. What Du Plessis did, Ikram can do as well. Of course Whittacker can out-strike him, but how long can he avoid Ikram's big shots, when he got cought by Dricus and Costa? And the grappling looks even more dangerous for him. I really think Whittacker could lose this one.

Costa did fuckall dmg and ddp caught him only because he did damage in the grappling, outside of grappling ddp only landed that one shot in 2 whole rounds

Tbf, Ik Izzy was injured but I think the bigger reason Izzy lost to Strickland is because Izzy is a counterstriker and Strickland is tailor made for beating counter strikers, he loses to literally anyone who pushes forward on him but for Izzy specifically Strickland is a nightmare matchup. Sidenote: the middleweight GOAT? Really? Over Anderson Silva? You kidding
