He’s definitely creative and playful in his fights, sure. But I don’t know if I’d say Silva has a “street fighting” style. The guy is an unbelievably technical and precise striker. Probably the most precise MMA striker of all time. His timing, footwork, defense and precision are all second to none, he’s been formally trained and has mastered multiple striking arts, and is a black belt in BJJ. I’ve never seen a “street fighter” with anywhere near that level of technical precision, nor have I ever seen anyone fight the way he does in a street fight.

The fact that Anderson is able to compete with someone like Izzy, while in his mid 40’s after such a long career and not get completely embarrassed shows how special he is.
