@@aj6546 yes exactly, the pivot is naturally going to happen when you put force through your body to slap someone (involuntary movement). In the UFC there are different rules like eye pokes, 12 to 6 elbows, knees on the ground which are voluntary movements.

The rule say: The Striker must have two feet in contact with the ground at the strike’s moment of impact. A minor heel lift of either foot caused by the momentum of the strike is not a stepping foul. Did his feet loose contact with the ground? UFC could just strap the feet to the ground if they wanted to.

Dude any small pivot is a huge advantage. One of the First things they teach you in boxing is to pivot the back foot on a straight punch. This is the main issue with power slap over the other small organizations there are. You should have to keep those feet flat, period. It's why there's so got damn many brutal KOs in power slap compared to others. They need to enforce the shit but daddy Dana likes the KOs imo so they probably won't

That's the way combat sports work (i. e. boxing, mma): if you foul to stop or knock out the champion, you're victory is cancelled out by your foul. Yeah, it felt like Hintz lost, but until Rivero can deck Hintz out for a full count without stepping or clubbing, he's not going to come out a winner. That's the way the rules work-sure, it doesn't always seem right, but it makes for the best outcomes the vast majority of the time.

Thought about this too, but this would lead to even stronger slaps/knock outs since people can utilize the brackets to increase the strength of their slaps.

I was thinking same and then saw reply about how it could be used for slap advantage, then I thought sometimes the best slappers step, which is an advantage, so its like the slapper can kinda pick and choose when to step if they wanna, and I think a step is a foul not auto DQ, so why not just let them step? they already have the choice, or why not just strape their feet and let both slappers take advantage of whatever is gained? I don't know the medical science behind stepping in a slap to calculate percentage of enhancing slap, if stepping is equivalent to eye poking in mma or loading boxing gloves than thats messed up
