Back in the mid 2000’s a takedown won you the round, even if somebody was dancing around you popping you with a jab for 4 minutes straight, if you hit a takedown, you stole the round. Shit has changed drastically with scoring. I’m 45 dude. I watched the whole thing go down. There is a time in mma history where that would have been a 30-27 for Jan Blachowicz.

@@liamsanchezgoestovegas the only round Pereira won was the 2nd, the 1st was all Jan and the 3rd was on par but Jan ended the fight with top control earming thw round. Its a very easy fight to judge. Jan got robbed

Pretty clear 2-3 Pereira imo. Ankalaev vs Blachowicz result completely depended on an extremely close first round the rest of the fight was clear.

This is a great fight. I don’t agree that Pereira has a significant striking advantage. However he clearly has a technical striking advantage and a stamina advantage. Blachowicz rocked him a few times

blachowicz is incredibly tricky and unorthodox on the feet even for izzy and pereira. made of metal also. he was a muay Thai world champion right before he started MMA

@@peopleschoice1457 idk I think Alex sleeps ankalaev if he doesn’t wrestle which he barely ever does. Ankalaev does have really good striking but not to the level of guys like Artem Vahkitov or Yousri boulgari who pereira has faced multiple times in glory. If ankalaev actually wrestles and uses takedown threats to set up strikes and strikes to set up takedowns then pereira is in trouble but I doubt he does

Тейкдаун Блаховича в третьем ему не помог, Перейра там нанес ему удары, а Ян ни одного. В целом после второго просмотра скажу, что решение по бою - победа Перейры - верное.

Как раз таки по моему в 3 у него хорошие серии заходили, а во 2 он как будто бы вот вот помрет. Но вообще хорошо что Перейре отдали, я не думаю что в проф боях можно просто валять противника на пузе, ничего больше не делать, и надеется на то что судьи отдадут победу тебе, нужно пытаться финишировать бой

It seemed like Pereira was more energetic but if you count the shot for shot, it's hard to say, because Jan had a lot of heat behind his punches, which could count as 'significant strikes'--Alex's strikes were consistent but more voluminous.

Jan to Polak, nasz rodak. Obejrzałem tą walkę trzy razy. Patrząc na to co Alex powiedział po walce... Rozpracował go po mistrzowsku. To fakt. Janek trochę był zdesperowany, by go zrobić w parterze. I racja, bo każdy inny próbuje udowodnić "swoje ja" z jednym z najlepszych kickboxerow na świecie. Alex wygrał, może nie jakoś znacząco, ale to jemu się triumf należy. Był bardziej skuteczny w swoich uderzeniach.. i widać naprawdę, że Janka mega dużo sił kosztowało sprowadzanie go. A Alex ciągle wstawał, a w stójce był lepszy. I tak uważam, że Jan miał dobry plan na walkę. Przynajmniej on nie uniósł się dumą i wiedział, że w stójce nie ma z nim szans. Przynajmniej próbował go kontrolować w parterze. Bo do tej pory każdy walczy z Alexem bez IQ. Chcą go pokonać w stójce. Alexa... 😂😂 Zabrakło tej kontroli w parterze. Naprawdę myślę, że Janek byłby w stanie pokonać Alexa, a przynajmniej pokazać, że to najtrudniejszy przeciwnik z jakim się spotkał w MMA. Szkoda, że Jan ma kontuzje... Bo wróci to będzie musiał odbudować swoją pozycję. Gdyby był zdrowy.. zapewne miałby szybki rewanż, bo walka była naprawdę bliska, ale wiadomo Alex ja wygral

Análise perfeita da luta. Efectivamente é o erro de todos os adversários de Poatan. Querem lutar com ele onde de pé. Sim Jan foi adversários mais duro que Poatan enfrentou no UFC. Difícil manter Poatan no chão e efectuar golpes efectivos. Poatan certamente se preparou bem para a defesa no chão. Glover tem muito para ensinar a Poatan na Luta de chão. Sinceramente nesta categoria de Peso apenas Jan poderá derrotar Poatan

Я увидел победу Блаховича. 2 раунда валял Перейру, наскакивал на него с ударами. Перейра отмахивался от Яна как от назойливого пожилого поляка. И 3м раунде Ян повалял и поконтролировал Алекса. Думаю все эти неудачи ему после того как он слил бой Тещейре. Лег и сдался.

Had it 1 and 1 going into the 3rd Poatan won the first minute Jan won the second minute Third minute was close anyones Poatan won the fourth minute Jan won the fifth with a takedown Poaton did land more in the 3rd Easy draw, Jan could have done more and looks exhausted. Good call on the split

@@hungryforlunch i agree. The only round with a clear winner was 2 and that was Alex round. The only meaningful moments in rnd 1 was the standing guiotine by Alex and the takedown by Jan but Alex got back up. Thats 2 rounds for Alex. Not a robbery in the slightest but a 5 round fight between these 2 would be a banger

Because Khamzat threw ground strikes on Usman and beat him up in the first round to earn it. Jan did nothing damage wise on the ground.

Because alex was dominating the first for first two minutes. Alex got him in standing choke . Whereas chimaev took Usman down in first minute and thrown so many punches . 10-8 round means one fighter dominated whole round. 10-9 means one slightly better than other fighter in that round.

Jan spent the entire first round on top and somehow was more tired than Alex. 2nd and 3rd round he was totally gassed out, takedowns getting slower and weaker, got dominated on the feet. He'd probably get KOed if this had been 5 rounds.
