I have loved UFO from the first time I heard them. Great live band. Michael is extraordinary and so is bassist Pete Way. Pete also started a fad of bass players wearing black vertically striped pants. He was rock solid on bass. Saw them many times. Never was disappointed. Very good review & reaction. I like hearing all the good info you provide.

Saw UFO back in 1978. One of the best live bands I have ever seen. Rank them second to Maiden as a live act.

Oh my. Do you know how much I like Michael Schenker ? I would say I have 30 albums of his, not to brag but just to report a fact. I have seen him live six or seven times going back to 1983. Driving through a snowstorm once, a couple hundred miles another time. The last time I saw him was in 2019. I don’t know why I didn’t recommend them already. Glad you got to see them and especially Michael. This has that early sound, clear but not full. I may send you a later video when he’s in his own band MSG. So many good songs have been written by him. Glad you enjoyed Elok and I think it’s a great idea to focus on your exams.

You've climbed the mountain and planted the UFO flag at the summit Elok- These rockers take a backseat to NONE at live hard rock performing..Michael schenker was an early riffmaster in the scorpions..My all time 2nd favorite guitarist..Great choice young rocker.

Great reaction video Elok! Phil Mogg has such a great rock voice: so gutsy! As for Michael Schenker, is there a more iconic Flying V player? I don’t think even Albert King or Lonnie Mack are more identified with that model of Gibson guitar than he is. I’m glad to hear that you will be taking a break this week to focus on your academic work. You have spoilt us with the number of reaction videos you have been releasing, so I am sure your other subscribers will agree with me that we will happily wait until your exams are over before you treat us to more videos. Thank you so much for doing UFO, you know Michael Schenker was only 17 when he and Phil wrote that song, in all reality the song and most of the songs written for UFO as well as the Scorpions. Michael was a prodigy from the very beginning and it shows with his masterful guitar work throughout the years with the Scorpions, UFO, and MSG. Kirk Hammet idolized Michael and was his strong inspiration since he began to listen to UFO. Many guitarists exist because of Michael paving the way to amazing guitar riffs and leads. Everything he has touched from 1972 Lonesome Crow (Scorpions), UFO, MSG throughout the years and his recent release of Immortal 2021 I have and love every bit of it. All of his songs epic and amazing, 49 years of pure magic IMO. He as well as UFO, and MSG is very underrated and deserves more exposure.

Yes!!! You finally got to UFO. So right this band was an influence to Iron Maiden Def Leopard and so many others!! Check out other UFO songs they're all great!! Yeah 2020 was hard on the band we lost 3 former members RIP Pete Way, Paul Chapman and Paul Raymond.

I'm 54yrs old ,UFO were popular on the radio when I was 5 or 6,they are an all time favorite from the past that I'm rediscovering & do appreciate their musical talent even more jus recently. I saw an interview w/Steve Harris,I really can't remember what he said but I heard the band UFO. Been listening to their music alot,& itz crazy to hear Iron Maiden riffs/beatz in a song now because there was no Maiden when I was a child. Ya made me Lol Elok when you said "if you don't like UFO there's something seriouly wrong w/you". So awesome!!! Keep up the good work w/the podcast. Check out the Plasmatics,when I was a kid I thought they were punk but that was jus their look,they are really metal .

I was your age when I started enjoying music like the ones you react to... I know you have exams coming and I have no doubt that you will ace them all.. I know your song list is quite extensive but keep these bands in mind.... The Kinks Allman Brothers. The Pretenders The Runaways. And this one may be hard to find a video reaction but a must T Rex. I don’t know if I should admit this but what the hell. My first year of high school (ninth grade) my friend would pick me up every morning in his white Gran Torino put on this UFO Lights Out tape and light up a joint we shared all the way to school. EVERY DAY, same thing, the entire first year! Let’s just say my first period class grades weren’t the best. I’m not kidding though, every freaking day. My friend was a mellow animal.

Ok, GUNS and ROSES? You know them? Try Welcome to the Jungle to start with. It’s full power and uncut, down and dirty Rock and Roll. At the time (late 80’s) they were the biggest band in the world, no contest. It’s killer jams as we used to say. The real fuckin deal. Zero fuck around. Sorry for the language but if you listen to these guys, get used to it. The album is Appetite For Destruction. Again one of the very best hard Rock albums ever made.
