As a drummer, I love the sound and the way they're mic'd. As a bassist, it's Pete Way so you know it's gonna have great groove and tone. As a guitarist, Michael's use of feedback in the solo presents a humbling side to rock solos and feedback in general sounds absolutely beautiful

It's got a really pre-punk sound, menacing and sparce, but with a beautiful melancholic solo in the middle, taking the song to places that punk was too limited to go. Awesome.

UFO is one of my favourite bands ever. Regarding your post, have you ever listened to the Dead Boys? If not, maybe just hit up 'Not Anymore'. I'm just throwing that out as an example. I found a real commonality in UFO and some punk, in that they were both quite primal. I wasn't really that interested in Van Halen and other heavy rock groups of the day, but UFO spoke to me. I still think they were very special. They had melody and a sound that hit you. I love punk music, and I love UFO.

A precursor to doom. Pete Way's bass istuned down so low, it seems to resonate from the bowels of hell. An excellent tune from an excellent album.

Grunge and doom owe their beginnings to a tune like this one. Hard, heavy, deep.

I like many rock bands and many records(albums) and Force it is, without a doubt one of my all time favorites, Schenker's extra arm (flying V) rules.

I am pretty sure they were, Sir! You are certainly blessed to have been in the presence of such legends. What I was referring too was a catch phrase, to be found in vinyl, someone used to describe Deep Purple as "the loudest band in the world" introducing them during one of their concerts.

Yes, and didn't Kiss claim to be the "Loudest band in the land" UFO with Schenker were truly a great band.
