Slone's Wilderness Expeditions

Күн бұрын

While driving across the San Luis Valley of southern Colorado, we stopped at this roadside attraction that was, quite simply, out of this world. The UFO Watchtower actually has a watchtower to view the sky from, with camping available. More than 230 documented sightings have occurred from here during the UFO Watchtower's 20 year existence, but the sightings and legends date back to the 1500s. Join us as we learn the history, and tour the "Healing Garden" of trinkets left by travelers who, like us, want to believe...

I used to live near Hooper. I have seen so many there. Thank God we left. The neighbors dog was mutilated. We were one of two homes within miles. I have a lot of vids and pics, but cannot send them to you here. I was blinded for about a half hour In. 2016. So, I always closed the windows, and curtains as the sun went down. Trust me there is a portal and they do go in and out of that dang mountain. It would take me about a half hour to get back over there and I do from time to time visiting, but to live there again? No way, and if you Google 37th parelle you will see why.

Wow! That is so interesting, kinda crazy, and a bit scary! Thanks for sharing, I love hearing others' stories and experiences. I didn't know about the 37th parallel, but I do now!

@@SlonesWildernessExpeditions For some reason I've always lived on the 37th, from California, west cost or Colorado. If you ever visit California I will give you a map where you can take videos.

No weird vibes, but I think we were having such a good time looking at all the strange things people had added to the "garden" that we didn't really notice. But then, we can be kinda strange, so maybe we were just vibing with it!

So how did Cat Fish get his name? As a kids we used to go Hornpout ( northernwoodlands.org/outside_story/article/humble-hornpout ) fishing with Throw-lines. We couldn't afford fancy fishing poles , so we used throw-lines , and we had a lot of fun. Nice video guys. JT

Ha that would be an interesting way to fish! As kids, my brothers and I would find any stick and tie a line and hook to them and fish in small streams. Catfish, however, did not get his trail name from anything to do with fishing. He has always loved cats, and when he was younger, he loved anything to do with water, be it swimming or just walking through a creek. So we combined the two things and he has since been known as Catfish!

That's awesome, I love that they used your photo! For the most part, that is a great list, though I'm disappointed that Indiana's "best" is a ball of paint, LOL. I've been to Hell one time, back in the 90s, for a paintball tournament.
