Oregon should take a look around at other programs that bought recruiting classes. Texas A&M and Miami are a trainwreck since buying their classes. Auburn bought one last cycle that the jury is still out on. But so far bought classes have tanked more programs than they've won anytning

@@popeyedave8253 The difference (in my obviously biased opinion) is that Oregon has been around a top 10 program for years now, and they now can finally overcome their geographic disadvantage with cash. Recruits won’t go to a dumpster fire that throws out bags, but they will go to a team that has top 10 potential and puts 6+ players into the NFL annually that also pads their bank accounts. TAMU and Auburn had garbage coaching and no foundation, and naturally that isn’t built to last. But the Ducks have had solid classes since Cristobal started, now they can use NIL as a sweetener, but not the only tool in the kit.

Meh. I feel like if you’re not top in wins and not top 5 in championship it’s not an automatic. Historically yall are in the same boat as Georgia or Clemson neither is a blue blood to me. Nebraska was and can easily be again. Win a championship. I can careless about sellouts or top QBs prospects.
