Glad you all arrived safely. I can sympathise with the feet, I have the same problem at the moment. Get those feet in the sea, sea water is not only cooling but has health properties. It is raining in the UK too. You looked fabulous in your jump suit.

My husband who is white british loved his experience when we visited my homeland, and wants to move there one day. Hi Jodie, I often have my feet swollen when I go into a hot country, I find putting cold compresses on eases them and reduces the swelling, now I take the cold compresses that you can put in the freezer, maybe see if they sell them in a pharmacy near to where you are. Loved the monkey trip, made me laugh the last angry monkey, thanks for sharing.

Also swollen feet is also due to the heat happens to me sometimes and my mum alot in Antigua, might also be medication as my mum's medication makes it more swollen. Try to elevate them as much as possible xx ALSO you're so naturally beautiful🥰

Hi Jode thank you so much for sharing your lovely holiday. Uganda is a beautiful country as is all African countries and you looked like your having such a beautiful time. Gosh your feet look so painful I really feel for you. It's got to have been the flight. I've only ever had swollen feet and ankles once and it was terrible. Keep your feet elevated as much as you can and get hubby to pat them every chance you can because that helps. He's a good one Jode 😊 hope they feel better soon. It's my dream to take my hubby and sons back to Ghana one day so they can see where they're grandfather came from and where I'm from but as you know it's so expensive because now Ghana is a tourist destination for a lot of people and once that happens the cost of everything goes up. But I will take them one day. And your right, Ghana is so hot 😂 I lived there on and off throughout my childhood and it was the best time. I haven't been back since 1996 which is when I was 3 months pregnant. I went over with no belly showing came back after 2 weeks and I looked 6 months pregnant 😂 all the food I was eating baby loved it 😂 have you tried the Uganda dishes. Do they have food like fufu and soup if yes eat some on camera because that was my favourite in Ghana 😂 I'm a stickler for monkeys too. I even had one of those little ones that sit on your shoulder when I was in Ghana. My uncle got it for me from the Bush and I loved it. I was known as the 'bruni' with the monkey on her bike 😂 Bruni means white! I think that's how it's spelt 😂 but you'd say it as brooni! When you were going those waves were something else 😂 you did look scared 😂 I would've wanted to get off but where would I go 😂😂 I can't swim 😂 but it was worth it like you said ❤ monkeys are so human like. My mum loves them too. And those flies....they were making me itchy 😂 that's one of my phobias I can't stand them. And your right Jodie when you said they show places in this country on the tele but only show the poorest parts of the country when there's so much more to see. Africa is stunning. From the country itself to the people the food and not forgetting the weather. You can't beat it. I'm very touched when you said Kamarley said he'll never forget his time there or something along those lines. Hope I've spelt his name right I was trying to see how you spelt it on your arm 😂😂 but it's nice to see him appreciate it. In Ghana children as young as 5 years old doing washing cooking. When I was in Ghana we passed an area and I saw little kids getting the pots ready to start cooking and I asked my dad why are they going to cook and he told me they had to because their parents were out working and it was down to them to get the food ready. I must have been around 14 and my dad told me I was lucky I have what I have back home. I appreciated everything so much more after that. I appreciated everything anyway but that did something to me that made me realise how some weren't as fortunate as I was. Seeing how other people live is an ❤eye opener and we all need to see or experience it. Right Jodie I'm off now. I'm tired but can't sleep and when I saw you had a vlog up that was it I had to watch 😂 I feel I can sleep now I'm going to dream about this vlog because it was a long one it made it even better see you in your next vlog I literally can not wait 🤗 take care all of you and enjoy 🥰 sending hugs from a rainy London 😂❤

Thanks Jodie for bringing us along with you. As a disabled person with chronic pain, travelling and especially flying produces swollen feet which can be painful. I am loving that like me despite your pain, you can still have a smile on your face which is a delight always. As a fellow chronic illness babe, I would recommend wearing medical grade compression leggings and socks during flights, taking diuretics like dandelion and regular leg movement on the plane and of course stay hydrated :)

Hello Jodie hope you are all having a fantastic time. I get swollen ankles especially in hot weather. I find it's worse if I'm sitting for long periods of time for instance on a plane or long bus journey. I avoid wearing slip on shoes like ballerina type shoes. I try to rotate my ankles if I can't walk around. I don't know if you can get a cooling spray to spray on your feet. Just thought I'd give you some tips that may help. Wearing trainers on a flight or sliders. Love to you and your family ❤

Loved this video. Always have wanted to go to Africa. I have trouble with swollen feet and legs from lymphedema and neuropathy. Girl get some pure ginger oil put on feet and legs push upward on your legs to push fluid up. It helps.

Enjoy your time in Uganda it looks great. Me and my husband and a couple of friends went to The GAMBIA a few years ago and stayed in a friends bungalow in a compound like you described. We had a wonderful time with the locals. They were so friendly and happy we were there. We saw the two extremes wealth and extreme poverty a real eye opener. We would love to explore the Africa continent more. Your video on the boat was very funny but you took it well and did not ket it spoil the outing to see the monkeys.x

Thank you for vlogging your trip to Uganda 💕I know it’s a lot of work. The travel is causing the swelling in legs/feet. You will need to elevate your legs and rest. Maybe your doctor when return home can prescribe a water pill for swelling. It’s a beautiful trip 🤗

Keep your feet up, try not to have added salt in your food, keep the kegs elevated six inches above your head, and move your legs as much as you can. If you lay flat on your back and raise your legs flat in the wall for five minu🎉es the blood circulation will be better and the swelling will go down

Jumm Jumm African food. Nice to meet your famaly My daugther always feels sad that I cant join them. To rough for my damaged neurologic system. But I m joyfull when I see them having fun Have you ever tried cooling gel for your feet agains the swelling. ( I use Agicool and a cream for heavy leggs from Yves Roche) I suffer from swollen ancles and blocked neurves/ musclespasms I love a cultured vacation too. Love to eat what the habitants eat, see places... I love a more "active " and "colorfull" vacation African moms are THE BEST. I was maried to an African(Maroccan) I LOVED my mother in law. I still do. She s for always in my heart I love the African thankfull/happy vibes How fun such a multicultural famaly! I agree we are ALL HUMAN! I went to Beautiful Jamaica many years ago and had grill fish by the beach. Next morning I woke up my eye were swollen that I could not open. So I ask what kind of fish was at the grill and it was Dolphin 😢. I guess I’m not having that type of fish ever again. 😂

You need to wear special socks to prevent blood clots and keep our feet elevated

Jodie please soak your feet in a bowl of cold water or swim in pool will help x
