Yeah, Tosin’s is a Rick Toone. Everything they design is incredibly odd, but always incredible. Their shapes and material choices are amazing, and their machine heads on the headless range looks fantastic.

The guitar Tosin Abasi is holding is made by Rick Toone, he's a luthier that makes awesome shit. He made one for Javier Reyes as well, they're odd looking but completely ergonomically customized and dope af.

that Tosin guitar is from Rick Toone I believe, its super ergonomic and the neck has more than one shape to it and what not. Misha has one too!

in case you didn't know, guitar necks in general have a taper to them. I's just not that drastic. we're talking about a difference of something around 10mm ( - this value can vary drastically - ) between the nut and the 12th fret. in comparisson, the neck is about 40-50 mm in width at the nut (unless it's a classical guitar, then it's probably a lot wider)

I've seen the Mosrite skateboard guitars before, those were made for the band Strawberry Alarm Clock

the Thing at 7:20 seems to be more an Experiment than a guitar. any metal moved over a pickup should create a Sound. 1see a Piece of foil that can probably be set above a pickup, and the chain and spring are also mounted over pickups. the set of strings at the top might be intended like the drone-pipes of a Bagpipe. might sound interesting.

my uncle had a travelcaster same color too, but when you try to play it the frets stuck out too much and would slice your hand.

The "chunk of wood/battle axe" one looks like a walnut crotch. (Where a walnut tree splits it's trunk into 2 trunks). You get really nice wood from this location. It's where you can get the "flame" or "tiger stripe" looking wood. Only problem is, he used a piece of wood that had bark inclusions (where bark ends up on the inside of the tree). Hence why there are random holes in it. The piece of wood he used really isn't worth much. For a wood worker, it would really only be useful for things like making pens or MAYBE making book matched pieces for an accent to a project.

I'm kinda surprised that you guys aren't aware of Uli Jon Roth, that guy is one of the inventors of the shred style which is you guys' bread and butter. I've actually met Michael Angelo Batio 3 times and he's a sweet dude and a god tier player. The first time I met him I went with some friends and he stayed at the guitar shop with us and talked to us for like an hour after he got done playing, then he went across the street to a bar but we were too young to join him at the time lol
