One of the most enduring things about my grandpa were the one-piece jumpsuits he used to wear. He even insisted that he be buried in one ("I'm going to be laying there for a long time and I want to be comfortable") So cute! Awesome memories :)

i am so glad that you showed us that Halloween isn't just going out, getting drunk, going bar hopping and running around in costumes afterwards XD Just cuz we're adults doesn't mean we're too old to carve pumpkins and have silly fun games. You're a wonderful role model, Lindsey Stirling!

Halloween has pagan roots indeed. It is a celebration of the end of harvest and beginning of winter. It was similar to the "day of the dead" as well where there's the belief that the Underworld and our world were so close during that time of year that they would celebrate. It is seen as a beautiful time, celebrating life and all that good stuff. :-)
