Curtis Jordan: I’ve loved this song ever since hearing it and nobody can sing it like Tramaine. I saw her do it live in Pittsburgh, PA in 1978 and the recorded version can’t even begin to touch the live version! Talk about singing with power - mercy be!!

No other member of the original Hawkins family has reached the international stardom of Tramaine. I am blessed to have broken bread with her. What a gift from God. She has talked about the struggles she endured because the lawyers were fighting her with cease and desist. She said God told her to go to the churches. Could go on and on. I have been in love with Tramaine Hawkins since 12yrs old. Back then, the church labeled the Hawkins as worldly because of the contemporary sound.
