UGR Lambo’s vs 2000hp GTR @ SCT Denver!

Roll racing isn’t exactly everyones favorite class, but it can certainly be an insanely entertaining one! Especially when every racer is at a disadvantage thanks to the mile high elevation air density of Bandimere Raceway in Denver Colorado. Streetcar Takeovers Roll Racing classes are usually full of surprises, but we had no idea we were going to see several UGR Lambo’s and high horsepower GTR’s show up to compete, making our morning much more interesting! These high horsepower cars really brought the adrenaline as there was some crazy fast fly-by’s and some trouble on the big end for one of the drivers!

It's tuff to control yourself. But I think they need to do a better job at explaining the rules and how things are. I just don't think dude knew where to get on it at. Been watching this s*** for years and I still don't know where to go is

@Tailwatcher, lol no Im pretty sure he wanted a fair race to see how his gtr could do against the red gtr. I dont think hes up on his high horse going “oh I beat a 2000hp gtr at the track fair and square”. This is all on camera too, seems like a pretty reasonable guy not on some crazy ego shit.

Why not add a couple of those radar speed trailers near the starting line to keep people honest? Keeps the eyes up and on the road, not down at a speedo or to the side pacing a car.

More than 500whp difference between the Lambo and GTR ! That Lambo is impressive with 1400whp against a 2000whp Gutted GTR 2R UGR setup with 1800whp would’ve won in my opinion.

I try to understand the development steps of the red GTR. Step 1: Oh let's remove the outside mirrors and cover the mounting holes with a thin cover of CFRP. This way we save weight and reduce the drag of the car to get even faster. Step 2: Let's film how fast we are. To do this, we attach GoPros with the geometric dimensions of the removed mirrors, and which in addition have a higher air resistance, to the outside of the car. :D

Used to love the GTR brand.. All the way through the 80's and 90's and just into the 00's. Then the "GTR" came out and it went all ricer. Don't get me wrong, its a beast and all but its easy. It's like turning up to a drag race in a Veyron. Sure, its fast but you didn't have to do shit to get it like that other than hand over some cash. The GTR is the same right out of the box. You can add 300bhp to the factory spec with next to no modifications. I do however have mad respect for a guy who gets 800bhp out of a small-block with mostly stock parts. That takes some engineering. Same with the older GTR's. The R32/R33/R34 could make mad power but it was never just a case of bolt on a few parts. Some wizardry had to take place. These days though? It just seems to be nothing but posers with enough cash to pretend like they know what they're doing.
