As someone who's been on an archeological dig before, it feels so awesome to have this detail put in, since I very quickly adopted the word sherd into my vocabulary

Actually, sherds aren't the only change in this snapshot, the trail ruins also changed. They are now a bit different in design (for example they have crafting tables inside), and also all sus sand inside is now sus gravel.

on google it says sherd is whatever it said in the video, on ddg, it just says 'alternative spelling of shard' it took them 2 weeks to release this update

The list of things that I suggest and should have been added to Minecraft (Android) many years ago: • Add slab dirt Adding unlined glass (when you glue it together) • Add types of ships or boats • To add like Java, put a tool like a torch in your hand (off hand). • Add swiping edge to the sword • Add advancements to Minecraft Android •• Add backpacks and pockets to increase inventory capacity • add label • add Effortless Building for creative • Add a painting on the board and put a photo from the gallery on the board • Added more animations and more models for dogs, cats and parrots • Instead of throwing things on the ground when you die, a grave will make it easier for the player by keeping the inventory items inside, and if you give the player a piece of paper with the location, date and details of the items, it would be great. • Addons, skin, shader pack, texture are no longer so limited • Improvement of Redstone devices and synchronization and shift work of pistons • More chunks are active around • Many forms such as Java • Animation under the trapdoor like Java I hope mojang adds these simple things (at least most of them) things that are very simple.Some of these ideas can be added for Java. It's funny because "sherd" is still pronounced as "shard", but sherd is literally defined as archeological shards of ceramic, It's etymology is just changing "shard" from an a to and e for archeological purposes.
