Please don’t take it the wrong way. As a fellow American, I can assure you that Maria wasn’t trying to be offensive. She just saw right thru the disguise and was trying to figure out who it was. does the girl in the pink know that the show was still airing inside the car? idk how to feel because u gotta put urself in her position. someone who she didn’t know, since he was masked and she couldn’t see his face, was in the car where the girls would be driven to the next location. they weren’t inform that there was going to be a mystery person since it was suppose to be a surprise. if i were her (and prob the other girls too) my ass woulda thought “did we get into the wrong car??” “there’s something suspicious going on and i’m not liking the vibe; we gotta get out; panics”. she has a very aggressive reflex reaction towards this scenario which i can partly understand since she is from another country. i also understand that she “has to change to the nice, approachable korean attitude” but i can’t expect her to get the hang of it since her original reflex was to become aggressive. when sungwoon offered her the water, she probably didn’t know what to do with it so she had to accept it like it was from a stranger, since at the time she didn’t know who he was. if i were in her shoes i would’ve been like “no thx” and like panic the hell out. i guess thats just her approach to show that she doesn’t trust whoever that is (ha sungwoon). personally, i would pussy out of i had no clue of who was in that car, but my personality is not as hostile as her approach. she can try to change her attitude, but again that was just her reflex initial response she could not help. you guys pointed out how she calmed down when she found out it was ha sungwoon. she knows who the identity of the person is, and it is up to her to trust him or not. i guess she decided to trust him since her overall attitude has changed, and she now knows who he is and knows who’ll bring potential (if she has that on her mind) harm to her. overall, sis idk what to say now since i feel like she felt that she was in a kidnap scenario and just panicked in a hostile manner. in her country this might be the case where there is lower trust than in korea, and that may have alter her overall reflex attitude. please elope on my perspective in the comments, i’m on team neutral and trying to understand right now.
