I see why Johnny and his team fought so hard to televise this trial and why he forfeited so much, emotionally and financially, to have this trial in the US. AH and crew have made these statements knowing a significant part of the population watched the six weeks of testimony in its entirety. Can you IMAGINE what they would have said if the court were publicly closed?! Or, if JD only had the UK trial?! I shudder to think; it’s legitimately scary.

I'm autistic and am quite sensitive to people's micro facial expressions. It's how I learnt to deal with interacting with others as I often miss the verbal cues. The only thing I see in Amber's face, in any video, is a combination of arrogance and aggression, even when she "smiles". She is really unnerving and I'd do anything I could to not be anywhere near a person like this in real life.

She makes a huge mistake: "When your life is at risk, not alone will you take the blame for things that you shouldn't take the blame for.....you don't have the resources that say, you or I do..." I think she possibly believes that JD “hit” her too. I think she’s one of those people that remembers and stores every little thing that you do, in order to use it against you at a later date. For example, if he ran the bathroom door over her foot, or if they banged heads when he was trying to get her in a bear hug to stop her attack, I’ll bet she’ll convince herself that that’s aggression on his part, rather than self defence.
@campbell1446

I watched the entire trial and listened to all evidences during the trial. After these interviews, Ms. Heard definitely convinced me again that she lied then, and she is lying now. She is definitely an ABUSER. She came across so deceptive, arrogant and disrespectful to the juries, the judge and people around the world watching the trial live. She repeated her lies in so many different versions that she somehow thinks these interviews would clear her name. She seriously needs to check into a mental health facility, and hopefully “many” doctors would be able to help her. She actually made me sick to my stomach every time I hear her speak, and I don’t know anything about Ms. Heard until this trial. It is not normal to see someone go out of their way to tell lies, hurt many people along the way, and continues to justify your awful behavior. She is raising a child with this disturbing condition. I just want to make one thing clear. In relationships, where actually the woman is being abused, she would never dare to attack or say anything back to the person that's abusing her. Not to mention, throwing, injuring, screaming insults and etc. because usually, such people are afraid of the consequences, which usually triggers more violence and abuse. Also how does sa with a broken bottle not need medical attention? On the other hand, my brother lost his kids for 10years because his wife lied in their divorce and said he assaulted her and his kids. Then left state after the judge ordered either party to leave state, and the court did nothing to punish her for breaking the judgment. He had to fight across the country to finally get them back. She was the one neglecting and harming the kids. Amber needs to just stop already. Blaming everyone else for her actions and her failings is just sad and I am personally glad she is being held to account.

Seems to me that miss Herd thought the real trial was on social media and that that is where she lost the verdict. She paid attention to social media because that suited her egocentric view on life. It worked for her before. She orchestrated spectacular media releases and events as well as leaks and it worked for her. She may have assumed that that was all she needed to do again, so it must have been embarrassing and frustrating that the rules changed. That is why she thinks it was unfair and unjust. But it all happened in the courtroom instead where whipping up a public frenzy or public opinion didn’t matter. Does that sound plausible ? That’s what it sounds like.

As a dv survivor, and subsequently having a 30 year career working with survivors of DV/SV, I can honestly say I have only ever disbelieved a ‘victim’ twice based on my initial meeting/listening to them. The first time was meeting a woman who (it transpired) who wanted to pay her husband back for wanting to separate from her by not allowing him to see his children, so she accused him of horrendous DV/SV…..and the second time was listening to Amber Heard try (badly) to convince people she was suffered DV/SV. Neither of them showed any real behaviours one would expect to see, neither shed spontaneous tears when reliving their alleged experiences, and neither had any respect for anyone except themselves. I am appalled, as are millions of other women, that AH can be allowed to ‘represent’ survivors!

She focuses on social media and everything OUTSIDE the courtroom. She clearly spent a lot of time on social media and it’s killing her that people saw through her BS. She made it seem that “social media” was determining the outcome, instead of real people reacting to her nonsense. When confronted with facts/evidence, she tells us they’re NOT factual. Wild!!! Why didn’t HER attorneys present the evidence she wanted? Evidence was excluded for BOTH sides; that’s how the court system works. For example, imagine if the full Australia tape, her DV arrest documents, and the lies she told to Australian authorities came in as evidence. Bottom line, she’s her own worst enemy and she’s not doing herself any favors. She’s still doubling down on her lies, blames everyone/everything else including the jury, and takes no responsibility for her fraudulent accusations. As for the acting, yes, Depp’s team said she put on a performance of a lifetime, but they didn’t say she was a GOOD actress. We,the public, found her acting to be terrible. She conflates what Depp’s attorneys said with what opinions expressed by the public.

She is a horrid actress which is why you see her in “B” list positions in movies. She knows she’s not a good actress & therefore couldn’t run with the “big dogs” & that scene so she told herself that if she got attached to someone “powerful” & old enough to manipulate then she could start attending that higher scene & become relevant. Johnny is part of the higher echelon of actors, he’s older, & he’s eccentric, which in her eyes could mean gullible or very passive, to which she could manipulate. But once she got involved & the deeper she got, she realized that her sweet charm couldn’t manipulate Johnny the way she fully wanted to, she turned the dial up, full volume, & started being mean to him. When that tactic didn’t work, that’s when the blackmail started because now she realized that she has invested to much time & energy into trying to get into the echelons that she should get paid for her troubles. She is like a bank robber & her so called “friends” where her look outs & Johnny was Fort Knox. She couldn’t fully break the bank so she had her “friends” help her & when that payout didn’t happen her so called “friends” disappeared & left her to take the fall. And Amber has fallen hard, albeit not hard enough or even hit rock bottom where she actually should be, thanks to Johnny & his kindness & good heart.

"I talked about being pushed to the extent where I didn't even know the difference between, you know, right and wrong". Her idea of "taking responsibility" is saying "he made me do it". She's offering a good glimpse into the cluster B mindset, though. She really doesn't know what's right or wrong. The very question is confusing to her. She just does what she believes is best (will best serve her interests), at any given moment. When those things turn out to work against her (be morally indefensible), she has no clue why. She's always certain of one thing: whatever it was, it wasn't her fault. Someone made her do it, she just did the best she could (to serve her own interest), and, when it went wrong, it was because of something someone else did.

And what played out on social media was a reaction to the evidence presented in the court. However extreme the reactions (threats are never okay) it was a reaction to the overwhelming evidence that she lied. As a survivor of severe abuse and neglect by my mother (which directly caused medical issues to this day, 31 years after I got away) Heard and her lawyers do NOT speak for me - in fact, they undermine my ability to speak by insisting women aren't perpetrators, as well as lying about abuse in the first place. Domestic abuse has no gender. #womenabusetoo

Here's what makes me angry about her comments about the jury: the vast majority of people who serve on a jury take it extremely seriously. Period. Full stop. Because they know there are heavy consequences that are handed down with their verdict. They take an oath and they take that oath seriously. They are not going to risk bringing their own character into question. They just won't. They're thinking about the work they're missing, the fact that they're not home with their families, the fact that their lives have basically been paused for the duration. So for her to impugn those jurors with absolutely no evidence to back up that claim is pretty disgusting, but completely on brand. I served on a jury for a first degree murder case just a few years ago and we weren't sequestered, just like the jury in this case wasn't, but there is no question in my mind that every single one of my fellow jurors went to great lengths to make sure they did not muddy their perception by looking online at anything. Plus, when you're sitting there for eight hours a day, slogging through testimony after testimony, which is mentally exhausting, the last thing you want to do is go home and listen to more people talk about it. That's just a fact. The case I served on was a week and a half. These poor people had to endure six weeks. I can't even imagine...

It just shows how little regard Amber Heard has for ‘taking oaths’. Just because she will lie under oath, without batting an eye…she automatically thinks everyone else regards ‘oath taking’ as a joke, as well. It doesn’t even occur to her, that lying under oath can bring wth it very serious consequences. She flippantly accuses ALL of Johnny’s witnesses as lying under oath, too. That’s clear narcissistic projection, is what that is. It says much more about her..than it says about anyone she is so casually ‘accusing’ in this interview.

She been coached by behavior specialists - I thought she had when the trial was on break. She's trying hard to seem normal, but anyone that saw her > *deposition* < and the trial saw the real AH. - yes, there is a cluster demonstrating deception, 10:22 look at the eye flutter when she tries to say she spoke the truth. The Behavior Panel is excellent. It's BIZARRE how she's now talking like JD with his stutter. She will do anything to pretend to be like someone she feels people like better than her. She started the trial dressing like him, then after Dr. Curry's testimony she came in with her hair styled like her. It's pathetic she's 'now' doing his stutter. Yes, she's been doing the look of contempt quite a lot. 19:15 forced disgust & eye flutters, lots of eye flutters in the end & at 19:30 she's trying to look sad, but can only pull off a puppy dog look, yet has the left side of her lip jutting up in disgust - the camera angle is unfortunate here though. I do believe that 'she believes most of her lies', but the subconscious doesn't believe that's why people have clusters when they lie.

I'm old enough that I had Civics class in junior high school. While it's simplified, the basic gist of how rights work was explained to us as "My rights only go as far as your nose". Meaning, I can swing my arms all I want, but I can't just punch you because you got in the way of my arm. If I do punch you, you can react because my "rights" don't automatically trump yours. Amber can say what she wants. But she has to accept the consequences of that, which in this case is paying JD $10.35M because what she said was a lie and caused him personal and financial harm. She is also ignoring (as do far too many people) the fact that the right of free speech is the right to say what you want without the GOVERNMENT squashing what you say. You don't have the right to make a print or video outlet broadcast what you say. If you want a greater reach than standing on a soap box outside your house, you need to either pay for it yourself or convince someone else it's worth spreading.

I think AH believes the line “I never had to instigate violence, I responded to it.” I suspect she believes that JDs disagreement with her, her displeasure with him in that moment, is “instigation” of violence on JDs part. She feels he “started it”, even if he never lifted a hand to her. And for some people with BPD when they experience the feeling of “impending loss of a relationship” it can be taken as an instigation, so they then “respond” with negative behaviors. To an outside observer, they instigated it. But to the individual with BPD, it is a clear case of their responding (appropriately) to an instigation from someone else.

It was only when she was made to fully back up her claims that it all failed. Because she had nothing. Now with everything falling apart she tries to come up with any excuse possible to say she's still innocent. After this mountain of evidence came up against her while she had so, so little to throw back she decides to completely shift her view point from telling johnny "good luck" with convincing the jury (from what I gathered implying it'll be difficult for him as a man to fight against her allegations) to "everything is against all woman." That isn't true however, no, just everything is against her, but she will refuse, and continue to refuse to believe that.

What I saw and heard during the trial, and what I'm seeing and hearing here remind me so much of my ex and marriage. The only difference being that eventually I snapped and wound up going through the legal system (UK) as the aggressor. I was lucky, I had a great barrister who believed me and IN me, I had a judge willing to listen, and my time on remand gave me the chance to escape the marriage. When I was released, he tried to get me to go back, but I had the support of not only my friends and family, but HIS family who finally realised what had been happening. I was lucky, JD was luckier that he got out before he snapped, and AH needs to stop now before she loses what credibility she has left and get help before she loses her daughter and what support she has left, as all she is doing now is digging herself into an even deeper hole, legally and personally. I'll still try to listen to what she has to say, but my heart is with all the unknown victims out there, regardless of their gender, who are still struggling or rebuilding. Did she forget that she sarcastically and mockingly said to him "you are admirable" when he said he walked away from a physical fight? I realise that an outsider cannot always understand how abused victims behave, e.g., why they keep staying in an abusive relationship, but I can make sense of the latter but not how anyone could repeatedly provoke their abuser when they think their "life is at risk". I could see how someone in the heat of the moment could do things that make them an even bigger target for an abuser, but why would a victim poke the bear in perfectly calm situations?

So on the "right or wrong" and "we were both awful to each other" bit: Andy* Signore made a great point. He postulated that if she can now admit that they were awful to each other- well then expound on that, Amber. She literally denied everything that she was accused of, even the context of the contents of the tapes. So, what DID she do? Let's talk about it, Amber. She said couldn't tell right from wrong but, she also denied her well documented abusive behavior but also, they were "awful to each other". I'm getting whiplash. So much manipulation.

Come on with this " They were both bad to each other," Johnny was responding to the things she was doing! Anyone that is being continuously hit and call names would eventually get angry and call her names! Some men would have beat her a$$, but Johnny didn't. Time and time again he tried to get away from her when she was acting crazy, but she wouldn't let him. I don't care if you like her, or not like Johnny, the facts showed that she is a lier. Period.

Its pretty typical when abusers are held accountable, to claim both parties are horrible to each other, because they know they can deflect blame, and push people to hold their victims "responsible" for the abuse they endured.

@@lwolfstar7618 I've noticed it's also very typical when female abusers are mentioned. People find it hard to believe a woman would abuse unprovoked, so they have to say 'they were both as bad as each other'.

I think the mistake she regretted making was “daring JD to take her to court, to the public” because she would never have thought the verdict would be in JD’s favor, and how she would miserably fell to convince the public of her lies with her “Oscar performance”.

Just to clarify, only excerpts were played in court for timeliness. However the entire recordings were submitted to evidence for the jury to listen to if they wanted to. This was mentioned numerous times during the trial by the judge and both side’s attorneys… so yet another lie from Amber…

The fact she is still pointing the finger is abhorrent. She had her chance to put her evidence through. If she was raped with a broken bottle. There would be horrendous damage after an assault like that. There is no way she could continue her life as normal after an assault like that without serious medical help. Also her claim he beat her face again and again as he had her pinned to the floor as she claimed he always wore rings def would have left serious wounds and bruises to her face. Non of it makes sense

When this trial started I had never seen a Depp film and I never heard of Amber. However, I have represented victims of domestic violence. It did not take long for me to figure out that Amber was the abuser and Johnny was the abused. He tried to run from her. She admitted it. I don’t doubt that he finally fought back when attacked.

Her comment on evidence being kept out is regarding the US trial, not the UK one. Directly before in the clip she stated, regarding the UK case, that she had had "more evidence in". It's been a big part of both her and her lawyer's argument post-verdict that evidence that was admitted in her favour in the UK was kept out in this trial.

I wouldn’t have to I responded ,Amber it’s a yes or no question if you know you didn’t you wouldn’t need to think and just say No absolutely Not. Johnny convinced the world he has Scissor Fingers , she knows Edward Scissor HANDS is just a character and no one is convinced that has knife fingers in real life. When your in Danger and at risk sometimes you would take the blame for things that you shouldn’t take the blame for , seems going finding a new way to lie instead of saying sometimes when your scared you’d agree to think you didn’t do

As a man who was falsely accused of a sexual crime against a female employee, I sat in court for many weeks defending myself against a lie. That lie was perpetrated by a large corporation who paid a woman to ruin me because I had discovered and reported to the company President that a division of the company was illegally doing work which violated serious USA Federal laws. The cost of correcting the faulty work would exceed the value of the entire company. Also if discovered, the possible resulting fines alone would have put the international company out of business. We proved in court, that the executives approached this woman, agreed to pay her to file the charges, agreed to fund her legal fees and to appear in court on her behalf. Each company executive in turn filed separate lawsuits against me personally for various supposed acts. We proved each claim to be false and they paid me money. Even though I was proven innocent of all accusations, my reputation in that industry was ruined. My life was dramatically changed. I am so very happy to see Johnny Depp prevail in this similar situation. I hope his future continues to look bright. I agree with your impressions of the despicable woman, Amber Heard and her behavior in and out of court. I believe she needs extensive medical intervention.
