Do you not use the ike jimi method of dispatch? A knife about 3/4 inch in behind the eye and they are stone dead, I use to use a priest but found sometimes fish woke back up and I hated the thought of them suffering so the ike method is alot more definite.

Hi Danny, super show. For me your gurnard the highlight. It skins and fillets so easily in one movement and fresh tastes so good. I got one on holiday off Penzance, not quite as big as yours. The trope is a magnificent sport fish but not what a commercial fisherman wants to spend time catching. Nick from York.

You were yanking the rod up all the way through fighting that first fish if it wasn't a doggy you'd probably have lost it. Still good show love flatfish of any sort
