Making My First Bowie Knife

Күн бұрынI wanted to push my comfort zone a little and decided to draw out my own blade design and make a stacked leather handle, also a first for me.
This video is quite long, so I will show some time codes in case you want to jump ahead.
I have to give a shout out to my dear friend Dimitris Polychronis of @JimmysCanal who made the beautiful scriber and piercing saw I use in the video.

a good sharp razor knife for rough shaping, then rasp then sand, then burnish then soak in linseed oil... let dry, then burnish again

@@Ukenick If you look at my friends lit, you will find a lot of names you might recognize from the Forged in fire thingy.... I helped many of them along the way...Trenton Tye, Jeff Waggoner, James Helm, just to name a few
