The Ukrainian military said it will stabilize the battlefield situation shortly and aims to form units for a counter-offensive in 2024. Kyiv has suffered a series of battlefield setbacks since the fall of Avdiivka to Russia early in February. The Ukrainian commander said that his troops are holding the fight against the Russian forces in several directions. India’s embassy in Moscow has confirmed the death of a citizen recruited by the Russian army. Asfan had last called from the Russian city of Rostov-on-Don to say that he had been deployed to the frontlines, his brother Imran told AFP. China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi defended his country's partnership with Russia during a press conference on March 7. Ukrainian population is nearly 40 million I can assure you they got plenty of people to fight . russia is moving forward but remember the further into ukraine they get their supply lines will will be non existent wars swing bk and fourth this war is no where near over yet russia has lost around 9 times as many soldiers as ukraine so far

@@stevengray5740 million ? In Zelensky's fantasies! Even before the war , there were 32 million in Ukraine, and the remaining 8 had long since left for other countries . After the war, another 7 million left the country , and 3 million ended up in the territory that was ceded to Russia. In total, the population of Ukraine is now 20-22 million. Of these, the male population suitable for mobilization is about 5 ! 1.5 million have already been called up in 2 years and they either died or were injured . And another 1-2 million are needed in industry and providing for other needs of the country . In total, Zelensky has 1-1.5 million available for mobilization. That's all!

@@stevengray57 Half of those 40 million have fled to Europe. Another half are male. So that's 10 million. Another third are little boys. Another third are over 40 or 50. So in reality, there are at best 3 million men of fighting age in Ukraine, of which at least 500,000 are now dead.

All of a sudden the goals of Ukraine has changed from retaking Ukrainian territories and saving Ukrainian lives to inflicting 'maximum losses to the enemy'. Definitely, a US goal. Definitely, their existence as a state was not the primary reason to fight against Russia, bleed Russia and defeat Russia on the battlefield. It was the reason that US and NATO want to defeat Russia on the battle field and also through economic sanctions as well. And also be able to extend NATO to the East breaking all agreements post (cold-war) Soviet-US era. I guess, the Leopard does not change its spots after all. Everything that was once a mystery is now clear to the educated elites of the world. Viva Russia!

The only solution I can think of: is if the US is handed a resounding defeat in Ukraine and the Russians insist that all arms mfgs must be nationalised enterprises, with no other shareholder than the government of their country. Russia almost totally controls the skies, they massively outnumber Ukraine in artillery, tanks, missiles, ammunition, and men. For every artillery shell Ukraine fires, Russia fires 100. In last year's failed counter-offensive, Ukraine lost 150,000 men. Ukraine is presently losing about 600 men a day . They lost over 1,000 men in one particular day alone in the recent battle in Avdeyevka. It is a massacre. I don't know where you are getting your figures from, but you need to change your news sources.
