Күн бұрынUkraine said Thursday (July 4) its forces had withdrawn from a district in the key eastern town of Chasiv Yar, where Russian forces have claimed several advances.
"It became impractical to hold the Kanal district, which the enemy had entered, because it threatened the lives and well-being of our soldiers. The command decided to retreat to better protected and prepared positions," a Ukrainian military spokesman said on state-run television.

Instead of his utterly corrupt predecessors that basically sold out Ukraine and its population to Putin? Zelensky is caught between a rock and a hard place trying to align Ukraine to the much more prosperous and cooperative west, as is the desire of the Ukranian population even before Russia invaded. But at least the west promises prosperity and a shot at a functional democracy, while bowing down to Russia only brings corruption and oppression.

To all Ukraine supporters. I know its hard to admit that Ukraine is losing. The longer this war goes, Ukraine will lose more territory. Doing some kamikaze strikes on Crimea, Belgorod or Donbass with borrowed weapons will not win you the war. Yes, Ukraine might succeed in making it difficult for Russia but eventually Russia will break through. Hell, this war has improved Russian troops fighting skills, enabled them to use drones effectively and improved their economy. My dear friends, Russia is here to stay whether u like it or not. Said peace agreement will have to take into account territory under Russian control, thus it will remain in their control. Also said he would make guarantees that NATO would not accept Ukraine or expand further east.

I disagree with Trump. He is not the greatest salesman in the world. Americans politicians are, they sold their people to fill their own pockets from the NGOs and industrial military complex. If you look closely, every 60 billions sent to Ukraine, less than 20 goes there in the form of munitions and hardware, primarily older. Then this money goes to produce replacement in the arm industry… and the tax payers are screwed.

Why talk with someone who only lies and makes false promises. Just keep the war going for another few years and Russia's inevitable collapse will make Putin wish he was back in 1991. The snail's pace Ukraine has to give up land and the disproportionate loss of men and materiel in Ukraine's favor (as they get to defende most of the time) means Ukraine can keep this up much longer than Russia who's already spending money on the military close to the height of the Soviet Union (expect with a much weaker, more corrupt and less self-sufficient economy this time).

Erdogan broke his promises to Russia, including to not allow the released Azov prisoners to go back to Ukraine before the war ended, no wonder he is not acceptable. Azov, that is now bigger than at the beginning of the war, doesn't want membership in EU for Ukraine, another headache for Zelensky.
