In a major blow to Ukraine, its FrankenSAM air defence system was reportedly destroyed by Russia in Kharkiv. A video on social media showed the destruction of the hybrid FrankenSAM system. According to Russian military bloggers, the system was destroyed by the Russian troops using the Lancet loitering munition. This is a major milestone as it marks the first reported destruction of the FrankenSAM system since its introduction into the Ukrainian battlefield. The Eurasian Times reported that Russian bloggers claimed that a second FrankenSAM was also destroyed using an Iskander ballistic missile. Several Ukrainian military bloggers dismissed the claims as fabricated. Watch the vidoe to find out more.

GMLRS/HIMARS and Javelin have been far more effective. Lancet however has produced a lot of propaganda footage which makes it seem more prominent than it is. Anyone with a Brain that functions independently will notice Russian propaganda videos of stitched together cuts. Different cameras, different targets, different exposition. However there are clearly many people without functioning brains that arte easy targets for Pro-Z

Lancet is very good. FPV drones are likely better on the frontline, but Lancet's range enables deeper strikes.

@@jtf2dan Russia has been hitting Ukraine's infrastructure all over Ukraine for 1.5 years now, ever since Ukraine's first attack on the Crimean Bridge, and military targets for over 2 years. I would say that nothing Ukraine can do compares to that. As for Lancet, it is just one good tool of many for hitting military targets.

They shouldn't be that expensive but every component costs royalties because they are made by diverse companies that invested in years of research and development. Many parts of the weapon are not native-made but imported from different countries in the alliance that are trusted, such as Japan, Holland, Switzerland, and Canada. Each country has its defence industries and specializes in different fields.

New system doesn't always mean better system. Ukraine old AA systems are probably better that this Frankensam. This system was made in a hurry because NATO lacks AA system to give to Ukraine. An upgraded native system will always work better than mismatch system 'developed' in a hurry.

Ukraine never had a chance. Anyone who understands how military works knew it from day one. Even western politicians and career military higher up who have never seen battle have a Hollywood understanding of what is necessary to fight a war. The head of the US Army is a woman who was never in the military, which goes to show how far the US has fallen and why their collapse, Empire & home nation, is right around the corner. NATO would lose if they fought Russia because the back bone of a proper military, industrial capability, was off shored decades ago. That's why Russia was able to out produce the empire and all it's vassals by 4-1 in basic artillery shells. If you cannot mass produce the required armament to win a war you are done. Empire has blown a trillion dollars a year for a military that cannot win a war - Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan and Ukraine proxy war. Losers. Neo liberalism starting with Reagan has left empire and the rest of the west incapable of fighting a major war. Empire has no clothes and the whole world knows and laughs how rebel Yeman Houthi's have shut down the Red sea and empire had to sent an entire carrier fleet to shoot down some cheaply built missiles. I think Ukraine should change tactics. It should not only focus on defense but also consider going on the offensive. As you've noticed, Russia no longer uses troops to attack Ukraine; instead, they only send drones. Hopefully, Ukraine will acquire more equipment and systems to counter these pesticide drones.
