So, mechanized part is an IFV playing a role of an APC. No birds in the air, no artillery, pos nato rifles jamming in the middle of a firefight. But hey, at least you can be comforted by the fact that a report up top says you've made "significant advances fighting on the flanks of Bakhmut"

@@XBadAssGamesX They are being hit by artillery. From the radio chatter i didn't hear anything that would indicate that counter-artillery fire is being used. Nor is there any artillery working on the enemy infantry. Birds in this case being drones. They sound a bit lost here, told where to go in a general direction but thats about it. If Russians got cameras on those powerline towers, these guys are in serious trouble. Sometimes simple AK74 is better than being tacticool.

The doors on the BMP are just horrendous. The vehicle is already cramped enough as it is without having to squeeze out a little oval shaped door while carrying 80lbs+ of gear! And straight into combat on top of that! And the BTR is even worse! The doors are smaller and located between 2 huge tires!

agree with timetraveler -theres alot less tranches around bakmut -theres a solid line of them the entire length of the territory everywhere else. theres a few minor gaps near where the flooding occured in the south, but no bigger gap in the trenches than around bakmut. Bakmut was/is either symbolic for the russians i heard, or, not important in n of itself, but because it opens up new possibilities. So many military/strategy opinions iv heard now XD

It’s always nice when they target civilian target instead of the military railway bridge. Two civilians were killed and a little girl is in critical condition. The bridge will probably be back up and running to civilian traffic in a month
