Russia-installed governor of Kherson region has claimed that three Ukrainian soldiers swam across the Dnieper river to surrender before the Russian Army. The incident reportedly took place on April 17. A day after that, the Russian defence ministry released a video of another Ukrainian soldier, who was reportedly captured by them. The soldier said he surrendered after he read a note dropped by Russian drone. He admits that there is panic across all Ukrainian units as Russia has been hammering their positions non-stop. Meanwhile, Russia claimed that it carried out nearly 34 air strikes across Ukraine between April 13-19. Watch for more details.

Yeah it's not until pretty much towards the end of the summer offensive that I really started feeling bad for the Ukrainian soldiers who are dying since. These are the people who are largely being forced into this at gunpoint. The soldiers there at the start were Azov and Right Sector Nazis who wanted to be there. But those guys were destroyed before and during the offensive.

I agree. Plus it's not worth fighting for, they have to ask themselves what is it they are dying for? East Ukraine? Probably none even live in East Ukraine. But Kiev is going about like there is no war going on and having cafe lattes and strolls in the park while the poor boys get sent to the front. Everything is explained, the Russians dropped a message by drone "surrender, we guarantee your safety" They had spotted the Ukrainian soldiers who were holding a position under Russian fire. The Ukrainians have expressed their agreement. The Russians sent another drone with which they were able to communicate and receive instructions. The drone guided them and it was done at night to prevent them from being targeted by Ukrainian fire. They were exhausted, cold and in need of care.
