There are truly amazing craftsmen in the world. However, most of them don't know how to handle a camera or edit videos. That's why I decided to create videos for them and feature them on my channel. Of course, I will continue my own work (shoemaking) alongside this project.
This video is the first episode of the series 'Moments of Truth' which introduces master craftsmen.
This video was filmed over 10 months and captures the entire process of making six ukuleles during that time.

Instrument making has always seemed mystical. So many things go into making an instrument sound "right".

Wow that is amazing work. I've repaired broken baritone ukuleles and you wouldn't think looking at one they're so complex inside but they are very complex. You are a master.

This isn't Terry. Terry is filming. The man making the ukulele is the man who just purchased that pair of bespoke shoes Terry just made. He put the mother of pearl initials in the soles as a collaboration with Terry on his own shoes. Phenomenal craftsmanship all around the board!!
