Good answer… Johnny Cash may have tinkered around on the ukulele but he certainly was more of a guitar player as far as I know. Somewhere out there I’ll bet someone is photo shopped a ukulele it into a Johnny Cash picture… That would be funny to see ha ha 😉🎶 be well & happy playing!

Hey Stu! Fine lesson. I tried the Luther Perkins' dollar trick but had to use a five spot as we Canadians use coins instead of bills in denominations of 1 and 2. But, in spite of being worth only $4 in US currency, the Canuck five spot had quite decent tone.

Boom Diddy is better I think! Since this music is born from your neck of the woods, I'll trust southerner's opinion on that one ;) Someone suggested "boom-chucka" as well...

You're awesome. Quick and thorough...great point to be able to say the rhythms and watch hands and use metronome but then the hard part...practicing. That's my problem. Thanks great instruction and great positive energy!!! Story Fish, Chatham Ma

Thanks for watching! Practice is just repetition...with love. Do three triplets in a row, then break - three more, then break. Break often - it not only makes your practice lighter but will allow your brain & body to absorb the material. Play on...btw, I love Chatham - used to go there every summer as a kid. Hope to go back someday for a fri night band concert 🎶🎉😊
